The Dream Tacos

The Dream Taco is my favorite spot in Plano- a true hidden gem with unexpected taco flavors that always hit the spot. I'm obsessed with the birria coconut curry taco, but on a server's recommendation, I tried it with goat instead of chicken, and it was absolutely next-level. I've also had the Baja bacon shrimp and the crispy sushi tacos, both incredible, but the birria remains mind-blowing. The interior is super cute, and the staff is always amazing- friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to discuss flavors while offering fantastic recommendations. Will be back again and again.

Working in food service for years it really pains me to write a review based on service but the service was horrendous. They didn't have one of our tacos due to it being out and instead of letting us reorder quickly they ran off said they would come back and went ghosted us until we got the check. The server did the same thing half way through asking him to make sure it was removed from the bill and while I was trying to explain the story he ran off to find out what we were already told that they had no more scallops for the taco. Glassware was dirty as well and made the whole experience just sour.Unfortunately the food is good but not worth the service qualms. Heck the table next to us had half of the party leave with the other table debating on leaving because they sat right after us and still didn't get their order taken even after we finished our meal.

Tacos are always a good option when you are out for an evening night of fun. But having tacos at Dream Tacos is just next level enjoyment. The energy and vibe of the restaurant is great. The servers were amazing and fun to interact with. Everything we ordered tasted great. Chicken quesadillas- nice flavor and the quesadillas was filled with chucks of chicken Crispy sushi taco (not shown)- wow the flavors were amazing. The taco was so full of filling. I made a second taco out of itGuacamole and chips- love thisSteak taco- another super stuffed taco. This one for me was a little bit salty, but it wasn't unbearable Cocktails- all were well made and delicious

Where to start? This place is super cute inside with very comfortable chairs. We had a large group and the bartender Charvoun waited on us with ease. The menu is a bit overwhelming with all of the unique choices, so he took his time to go around the table and answer everyone's questions, ask about preferences and make suggestions. I opted for the Crispy Catfish taco and the Chicken Artichoke taco (the lemon butter sauce... OMG) - I really couldn't pick a favorite, they were both so good! Also had the El Diablo, which was basically a Moscow Mule with tequila - fresh and delicious! This place is a winner!

With plenty of free parking right in front, it's a convenient and inviting destination for food lovers.Chef Chetra has truly outdone himself with this creative culinary concept, blending French, Japanese, Southern BBQ, Southeast Asian, and Mexican flavors into a diverse menu filled with unique taco options.Not only is the food exceptional, but the ambiance and decor are equally impressive. Unlike many places that focus on aesthetics but fall short on quality and service, The Dream Tacos delivers on all fronts--atmosphere, food, drinks, and service.My sister and I shared the brisket tostada pizza (a solid 10/10), and for our tacos, I went with the mahi-mahi topped with fresh mango and pineapple salsa, citrus sauce, and sriracha (10/10), while she ordered the bulgogi Korean taco (also 10/10). We also tried a few martinis during happy hour (available for $2 off from 3-6 PM, making them around $10 each). While the food was outstanding, the drinks were a bit underwhelming, earning a 6/10 due to light pours.The only hiccup during our visit was a slight delay in getting our check, as our server was occupied with a large party. We had to head to the bar to settle up, but it was a minor issue in an otherwise great experience. Overall, I'd rate the visit an 8/10.If you're craving delicious food, smooth R&B jams, and a laid-back, trendy vibe, The Dream Tacos is definitely worth a visit!

I love this place! I was a little worried it wasn't gonna be good because of how cute and instagramy it was but I had no reason to worry. We received great service from Charvoun. I tried everything he recommended and he didn't lead me astray. Here are my ratings The Summer Breeze 9/10Supreme Nachos 8/10Crispy Catfish Taco 9/10 This is easily 5 stars for the flavor alone. The tacos are a bit pricey, but it's worth it. I'll definitely be back!

Service, decor, food, energy 10/10.When we walked in everyone greeting us made me feel like I was on the TV show Cheers ! I stood there smiling before I snapped out of it !

OMG' when I tell you , I couldn't wait to write this review. Let's start with the ambiance 10 out of freaking 10. Food & Drinks absolutely amazing. Tried the shrimp lemon pasta, shrimp and lobster taco, catfish taco and birra chicken taco "CHEF KISSS Lastly but not least custom service exceptional my waiter , such a vibe he explained everything on the menu and provided suggestions in which I complied and it all came out delicious.Favorite new to go spot in the city, love it a must try you will not be disappointed at all.

Great new take on a taco shop! Ambiance is perfect for a date night or a get together with old friends. Service was on top of all of our needs, and gave us invaluable insights into their menu. As they will likely tell you, one, maybe two tacos is all you really need. I recommend the chicken coconut curry, steak and cheese and the beef Wellington (however we didn't quite know how to eat it).

I recently visited Dream Tacos in Plano,I was immediately struck by the vibrant colors and modern decor that seemed to pulse with energy. I was excited to dive into their unique taco offerings, but unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag of flavors and emotions.I ordered three types of chicken: Chicken Tandoori Taco, Berria Chicken, and Spicy Chicken. I was expecting a lot of flavor, but the Chicken Tandoori Taco was a letdown. It didn't taste like much and was too salty. The Berria Chicken and Spicy Chicken were just okay, nothing special.The ambiance of the restaurant was indeed modern and sleek, with clean lines and bold colors that created a lively atmosphere.The service was bad. Our server seemed too busy, and it took a very long time to get our food even when the restaurant was empty We waited, and waited,our hunger and anticipation slowly giving way to frustration and disappointment.
