Three words that could firmly stand alone united on a FB Events flyer to grab my attention: Lobster. Brunch. Buffet. As soon as I saw them, I knew the Crescent Club was where my husband and I would be celebrating our 9th anniversary. No "club" membership is needed.Everything was amazing. The lobsters were dissected longways so we were not shy about asking for 3 pieces each. Instead of lobster claws, there were fat, peeled crab claws and jumbo shrimp for our consumption. The sea bass was as decadent as fish could possible get, like eating slabs of butter without the guilt. Even the sides (butternut soup, green beans and cherry tomatoes, salads, etc.) threatened to steal some of the seafood's thunder. And that was just one side of the buffet. The other side had room-temperature brunch items (fruits, cheese board, smoked salmon and more) and a manned omelette station. We would've appreciated this side more had we not been so full when we found it.This is a nice, niche place to visit on rare occasions, but not weekly nor monthly even, as high cholesterol can creep up on you like the automatic 22% service charge did to us.

My family dined here for the first time for Xmas. The overall dining experience was amazing. The hostess and staff were extremely friendly but the "Santa" was obviously unwelcoming and blatantly transparent about our visit. Sadly to say we will not return back next Xmas. We'll simply donate to a more worthy cause.

The quail is amazing! Beautiful views from the 17th floor and outstanding service! If you're in the area, highly recommend! The chicken shawarma was very tasty and generous pours on the wine :)

3.5/5 starsWe reserved a private room for dinner, and the service and staff was superb! I selected the menu for our party, and we went with a four course meal.1) Tortilla Soup: 5/5 yum, i really like this soup! Really well made! 2) Wedge Salad: 1/3 ehhh, i didn't really touch my salad. It wasn't that appealing. 3) Choice of rib eye, halibut, or chicken: 3/5 I picked rib eye. Very large portion. A bit on the salty side. 4) Creme Brulee: 2.5/5 I love creme brulee, but this one was torched enough and didn't really taste fresh. It tasted like something you would pick up in Las Vegas buffet line.

We went here for their Sunday brunch lobster buffet, $75 per person + 22% gratuity. The place is very nice and quiet. The staffs here extremely nice and polite. Food excellent, I recommended the place to several friends for special occasions.

Beautiful view of downtown. That's about the only plus sign for this place. If u enter this place on a Saturday evening & there's only one table, that's a red flag! And one waiter too. The food is mediocre, can be hit & miss. The Tuna steak was served on a piece of rubbery crostini. Go figure. However, the lamb chops was pretty good. Knocked off one star for the service. No smile the entire time we were there. Can't blame him coz he is probably going home with very little tips everyday considering the business here.

I purchased a voucher from Travelzoo for the Crescent Club for $59. The Crescent Club is located on the 17th floor of the Crescent Rosewood Hotel. The voucher included club access (of course) and a four-course dinner for two which included two soups or salads, a shared appetizer, two entrees and two desserts and complimentary valet service. The cost is regularly up to $122 for the meal and $10 for valet service. Our table was not exactly right in front of the window so that we could survey the Dallas skyline but we were pretty close. We were the next table over and still was able to enjoy the skyline. It was beautiful as night fell. I got to see 560 all lit up. The mood was romantic and there were very few tables seated next to us. However, the dining room was quite large but they sat everyone close to the window so we could hear conversations as they were being had. For that reason, I think many of the tables were speaking softly and only spoke a little louder as they ordered their meals. The service was great. It wasn't exactly a 5-star service but was better than many and could be considered to be one of the best. My husband chose the tortilla soup, blackened salmon fillet, and the cherry turnover for dessert. We shared the Texas quail as our appetizer. I chose to have the baby mixed greens salad, herb roasted lamb chops and the creme brulee for dessert. At first bite, the entrees seemed a bit salty but as we continued to eat salt wasn't the primary spice anymore. Everything we ate during our visit was phenomenal and we would definitely love to come back if we could. However, we are not memebers of the club and I read that the initiation fee for the club itself can be up to $5,000.

My husband and I recently dined here after purchasing a Travelzoo voucher and I have to say it wasn't worth it; we were not impressed.Ambiance: The Crescent Club is located on the 17th floor across from the Crescent Hotel and offers great views of the Dallas skyline. The restaurant itself is very grand and almost feels as though it's from a different time. I'd imagine it hasn't changed much over the years. The dining area itself was surprisingly small (perhaps there's another room we didn't see) with only a handful of tables having full window views.Service: The service was probably the most professional I've encountered and was almost over the top. It was impressive to say the least and was certainly outstanding. Our drinks were refilled regularly and there were numerous individuals stopping by to check on us at various points in the evening. I will say though that the staff as a whole was not overly friendly - I honestly don't think I saw our waiter smile once during the entire evening.Food: The food was where we were really disappointed. It just really wasn't anything special. We started with salads (fairly basic, nothing special there) and then moved on to the shared appetizer (part of the voucher deal) which ended up being the highlight of the meal. We selected the "roasted baby pear" which was served with gorgonzola, pecans, arugula, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. It was absolutely delicious and the flavors worked wonderfully together. For our entrees my husband ordered the steak and I opted for the buttermilk chicken (we had to order from a limited Travelzoo menu). The steak was ok but it really was not up to par for this type of establishment. It honestly tasted no different than what you would get from one of the local chains and was no where near the quality of The Place at Perry's, Bob's, or any of the other great Dallas steak restaurants. The potatoes that came with the steak were overly salty almost to the point that they were inedible. My chicken was average though I will say it was very moist. Again I can't say that it was anything special and again the spinach that it was served with was extremely salty.Dessert was a real disappointment. I ordered the chocolate cake which was covered with ganache and served with raspberry sauce and my husband ordered the cherry turnover. Both were very small portions and were beyond bland. I'm a huge chocolate lover and I only ate a few bites of the cake because it just wasn't worth it. If I had to pick I'd say the turnover was the better of the two, but it ended up being more dough than anything.Even with the Travelzoo voucher this was a fairly expensive dinner and I honestly can't say it was worth it. I can only hope the regular menu is better than the limited version that we saw, but we certainly won't be back to find out. Such a shame - this place could really be great if they only fixed the food!

Ugh. So disappointing. We had a voucher and were very excited about it. That was short-lived. It's telling when on a Friday night, with 7:00 reservations, there were 2 other couples in the restaurant. Quick food overview - grilled oysters were ok but other flavors overwhelmed any oyster flavor. Salad was the best part of the meal, but ok. Salmon was...salmon. You have had it before. Steak was ordered medium but brought out well done. They fixed it and brought out complimentary glasses of wine as an apology. When fixed, still very average. VERY average. Honestly, side by side, texas land and cattle would destroy this place - take that as you want.Really bummed overall. Total tab after the voucher, 2 drinks, after dinner drink and tip, $130. You can buy 2 much better meals than this for the same price. Don't make this mistake.

Obviously, you're not coming to the Crescent Club for an everyday lunch or dinner, so when a mentor invites you to join her, you join her.I had lunch at the Crescent Club not too long ago and it was delicious. I'm typically opposed to buffets (they are wasted on me), but this one was healthy and beautifully done. I had white fish with a mango salsa on top, caprese salad and fresh veggies on the side. Fruit and dessert were both served, but that's not what you do when you are a lady who lunches. Also, the waiter understood that I wasn't going home to take a cat nap. but was headed back to work, so he got me a coffee to go. So nice!
