The Catfish Connection

This was my second time ordering on DD and everything was just as delicious as the first time. **I'd love it if y'all would add a 4 piece fillet meal and/or the option to add an extra fillet!

damn, this place was so good! A small place next to Tom Thumb with a small menu but what they do serve is fab. The portion size was massive, I tried the 3pc with Cajun and regular and they even threw in an extra catfish filet to my 3pc. We also tried the popcorn shrimp and it was cooked perfectly. The Cajun seasoning was spicy but in the best way. We tried the fried okra, corn nuggets and jalapeño hush puppies and all the sides were worth it. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for good southern fried food.

I went into this establishment today for my second visit. The first visit the food, service, and ambiance was amazing. Today the service and ambiance were great. Once I got home to sit down and eat what I thought was going to be an amazing catfish and shrimp combo like the first visit. I bit into what I thought was catfish fillet but it tasted like swai instead. I ordered 2 of the catfish and shrimp combo. My son and I were truly disappointed. I am not saying this establishment sells swai in place of catfish but that's what the 2 plates I purchased taste like. If I could give a zero rating for my experience today I would.

Service is superb but I will not return to any establishment that serves grease/oil SOAKED catfish and fries. The oil needs to be changed in their fryer as the food tasted rancid and completely inedible. Do yourself a favor and go to Flying Fish at Firewheel ! Not worth the money here!

This is that authentic southern type of fried catfish! The service was excellent and you can tell they take pride in their food!!!No more driving all over for good fish!!

This is the best catfish in Dallas! I have been buying this fish for decades. While we know it will never be like it was with the original owner it's still really good!

Man O Man...where do I start? Service - Immediately greeted and welcomed upon entering. Ambiance - Well if you need glitz and shine...probably need Pappadeauxs.Food - However...if you want some Bomb-A$$ Catfish - this is YOUR SPOT! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I'm from the south and this the best fish I ever had,fries and all ,plus the homemade hot sauce was bussin 10/10

First of all. My first time. Take out only. Fish good. Menu is not accurate. Ask pricesI ordered 6 piece catfish nuggets. Menu says 8.50They tried to charge me over 11.00. I protested and pointed out t the Menu. They dropped the price to 9.50.I told them really need to update Menu. Otherwise ok
