The Breakfast Bar

The breakfast here is so good! It's like being with family and your uncles in the kitchen cooking. This is a family run business with staff that are friendly. It's is a very small place with street parking. There are a few tables/chairs inside but there's no dining in. They say the best food is in the hood at the hole in the walls so here it is!! That breakfast was so good and those grits didn't need any additions to it! Highly recommended! It's a win win situation here, go patronize so they can stay in business. It's delicious!

I went to the Breakfast Brothers just before Thanksgiving. There was a 15 min wait so I sat in the car. The text came just before 15min were up. I was seated at a table and provided a menu. My goal that day was to try the grits.I was sitting for a few minutes when a young lady came and asked if I was helped. When I said no, she jumped right in to get my drink order and my food order. After that, the waitress came over and apologized for the wait and she jumped in to make it right. My food came really fast. Everything was good. The grits were on the savory side so heads up! If you prefer plain grits, these are far from it. Good taste. I ordered sweet tea and the tea was on point!I ordered a red velvet waffle to go because I couldn't eat all the food. It was dressed with strawberries whipped cream and a sweet sauce. Delicious!The menu is not as traditional as you might think. There is a good variety of options on the menu, and they are willing to make changes, like my simple request for grits eggs and bacon! If you plan to go, call ahead and get on the waitlist, or come early. It's a popular spot and justifiably so!!

First time here.I admit, I was surprised.Place has good food and service is down to earth.I will definitely repeat.Thank you for your hard work.

Found this amazing mom and pop style restaurant near the Fair grounds! Highly recommend if you want a warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly service and home style food!

So we Tried "The Breakfast Bar" today. And honestly we're beyond disappointed. Which sucks because I was so excited to try it based upon the reviews from this page He ordered Chicken &Waffles both items burnt. I ordered the Breakfast Plate; with eggs, potatoes, bacon and French toast. My eggs, papas and French toast was flavorless, the bacon was the best part. && my BF didn't receive the bacon he was charged for.. Moral of the story;Burnt food, extended wait times, charged for items that we didn't receive...

10/10 my food was so damn good. Wish I had a picture to post but it's gonneeeee. I got a waffle and the omlette with turkey sausage and no mushrooms!! Top 2 not fucking 2!!!!

You must GO IN no phone orders. They take cash, card and cashapp. Customer service is good and they have indoor seating!

This is a awesome cafe on second where you can get your face fed for an affordable price. The pancake plate comes with two pancakes choice of meat eggs grits or oatmeal for only $$10.00!! The chicken and waffles are pretty tasty too! If you're close or even if your not come support this local business.

Quality product! , salmon croquets were good, a little hint of spice with good flavor. The potato hash was also done well. Overall I'm glad I gave them a try

Ordered the big breakfast plate (eggs with cheese, potatoes, grits, bacon & 2 pancakes. They doing it right up here, cinnamon pancakes, eggs were well seasoned, bacon was crispy not burnt, grits were hot & fresh. I was very satisfied with the overall experience and I'll definitely be coming back soon.
