My 6 year old son is loving Tempest! He loves high energy, extreme stuff so he's definitely thriving in this activity. Coaches are great. I've noticed some awesome things in my son in just a few classes here. Highly recommend if you have a kid that likes to jump and climb. The facility is incredible. They start with a warm up, then practice a few different maneuvers/ obstacles courses and usually get to finish with some free time on the trampolines / jumps onto the big air pillow. The first class was free and yearly registration fee was waived if you signed up on the first day. I'm thrilled we finally found an activity that is so him and that he wants to stick with!

One of the top training spots in the Dallas area. The adults open gym select nights is definitely the best! $15 dollars for three hours worth of open gym can't be beat. The design inside is incredible and the trampolines along with the different levels for parkour is crazy insane. Most of the staff is very hands on and wonderful with customers. The Saturday staff could use a little direction when handling some situations. If you aren't for big crowds I would stay clear of stopping by on Saturday's. If your an adult check out the night times offered. All in all the spot is great for adults looking to learn new moves, grow in already discovered talent or just wanting to jump around. Classes are offered along with private training. Worth the price and time.

Had a play date here with GCS Moms League & about 20 toddlers-- so much fun! I think their target demographic is probably high school boys, but the toddlers had the best time jumping, rubbing, climbing, etc! Best of all... the staff was amazing. They all did everything in their power to make sure babies, toddlers & moms had a great time. Highly recommend!

We love this place. We started bringing our 9 YO hear a few months ago, and he loves it. They work them extremely hard, and make it fun during the process. Definitely recommend.

The best place to parkour/ Ninja not just in Dallas but in Texas . Very reasonable priced especially compared to others who charge by the hour . They offer classes plus have open gym . Very clean and unique on its design and overall appearance. Get ready to have fun .

Tempest is a really great place to progress/train. Sure you can basically do parkour anywhere, but at tempest the equipment/people make it so that you can do so much more.

The culture at this gym is getting it right. Parkour and freerunning are about building up the whole person, not showing off. It has been a pleasure to watch the new leadership at this gym dive into crafting a culture that leads kids through a process of learning movements and body control while emphasizing safety. All this, while teaching them about not giving up, and about how to do more than they thought they could do. I have seen this approach before during the current leadership's tenure at another gym. The affect that this approach had on young people, when they succeeded at things they thought they could not do, bumped up their general confidence. To see kids' confidence grow as their ability grows is really a sight to behold. The new leadership at Tempest Southlake emphasizes safety, perseverance, and incremental improvement. Whether your kid is a star athlete or is struggling with body awareness or confidence, this will be a place of growth for them!
