3.5 stars. Been here twice. I like their online ordering (via their website). Very convenient.Got the lunch special. Got pad thai with chicken, comes with eggroll ($11). Typical eggroll. I think it is a good value since it's a decent amount of food. I thought the sauce on the pad thai was too sweet for my liking. So it made the meal more "ok" rather than I really liked this. I got the 4 /10 spice and by the end it was getting spicy. But my spice tolerance is meh. I finished it all and was decently full, so I wished I saved some for later.There were no napkins or utensils included in my carry out. So you might want to check before you leave if you need.I would come back... but not super super soon.

Wanted to check out this place cause it was pretty high reviews. It wasnt bad, just decent.Got a duck dish and a chicken dish. Wasn't super flavorful and the duck in itself should have a lot of flavor but wasn't really the star of the dish despite being the main protein. Just seemed to be lacking the strong flavors I know Thai food can have.Also got a level 5 spicy out of 10, had a slight kick but not spicy at all.Service was good, had no issues

Everything is made from scratch here. We had everything from their krispy corn fritters that we light and flavorful to their crispy chicken roll which is delicious and seriously crispy. Pad se-ew was flavorful just next time I will ask for more spice. I just asked for crispy chili oil and wow. Their crispy chili oil is some of the best I have had. Perfect aged peppers. The crispy chicken is money money. Holy yummess. Lots of crispy tenderness going on here. Throw your own sauces on these babies. So damn good . Service is super sweet here. This place is BYOB. Give this a try. Yummy factor from 1 to 5 this is a solid 5.

Food was good but disappointing. Ordered takeout Pad Thai with extra crispy tofu, no eggs, no carrots, no green onions. What I got were literally just noodles and tofu. The Indian girl who took my order on the phone was not able to answer my questions regarding what exactly was on the dish and input my order as "plain". I was surprised that there were no bean sprouts or peanuts as every single restaurant I have ordered this from do include them. I wish the girl on the phone was able to be more clear and take the time to actually ask someone else when she doesn't know the answer to a customer's questions. She mentioned there was broccoli and then said no broccoli. She was clearly unsure and should have double checked. This is important for people like me who have food allergies and need to know the specifics. Disappointed that it affected the outcome of my order as I rarely get to order out. The food was still tasty, just very plain and not what I expected given her poor communication. I later checked pictures on yelp of other people's pad thai and theirs did have the bean sprouts and peanuts so obviously the girl just didn't care enough about taking an accurate order for customer satisfaction. Really disappointed.

I am disappointed to have to that I didn't enjoy Taste of Thai Plano. With all the reviews I read and then seeing they have been in business for over 20 years, I figured their food was going to be great. The most decent dish I had was an appetizer dish - spring rolls and crab rangoons. The sweet and sour dipping sauce was good. All the entrees we ordered were subpar. The beef on the pad see ewe was rock hard. The massaman tasted watered down and didn't have a thicker consistency like it normally does. The fried rice I think had way too many green onions in it, which I think ended up overpowering the dish. Even though I didn't enjoy the food, the staff was nice and attentive. The restaurant atmosphere is casual and family friendly.

Food wasn't good enough for the 45 min wait I had to endure. Other people who came in later then me received their food before I did. Me being the only black person in the location at the time hopefully had nothing to do with it but I doubt that. I will not be returning to an establishment that conducts themselves in this matter

This simply decorated restaurant serves delicious dishes. It's our go-to place for Thai. Curries, noodles, and sauteed dishes have all excelled.One note: please avoid the sweet and sour chicken. It's the only dish of the many that we've tried that was disappointing and the chef seemed intent on keeping it that way.
