Pandan needs to be used in more drinks and desserts!!! Sooo good and so underrated! I think the Pandan drink was my favorite part of the meal but all the food we ordered was also super good. We got their lumpia, sisig, lechon, and a couple of more dishes I can't remember the names of, but they were all really good, Filipino food is def being slept on in the dfw area! Service was also fast and it was nice and clean inside the restaurant.

Everything we had was delicious! It wasn't exactly traditional in flavors but nonetheless did not fail to make the taste buds sing! Service was friendly! They made the meals quick and you get unlimited rice ! yay! Ambience wasn't anything to crazy or any off putting just a quite little place to eat and enjoy your family

This place is incredible! It was my first time there and I went in and asked what I should order. Soooo helpful and after answering a few questions- I got pancit, lechon, chicken adobo, bbq pork & lumpia. The flavor was INCREDIBLE and I can't wait to go back and try the sizzling sigsig! Please try this hidden gem out and if you aren't familiar with the food then you can always ask what they recommend!

- Sisig: the portion was pretty small, and there was nothing special about this dish. It lacked a few ingredients that I would find at other restaurants (3/5)- Pancit Bihon Noodle: I enjoyed this dish more than the Sisig, due to it feeling more "complete" (4/5)- halo halo: due to the container it was it, it was pretty hard to eat and mix around to get the perfect bite. It was good, but also felt like it was missing something (3/5)

I had the pleasure of having lunch here with a group friends because we were competing at national paintball tournament across the street. When the event location was announced, I was excited to find out there was a Filipino restaurant across the street. Of course it was must while we were there for the whole weekend.Friday and we made our meet up spot before heading over the venue and we had 8 hungry men in our group. Most were having Filipino food for the first time! I took the lead and ordered for the whole table. I made sure I kept it simple and not to exotic on the dishes I ordered. Had pancit, pork & chicken skewers, chicken adobo, beef kaldereta, pork sisig, and lechon kawali binagoongan. We got into it fairly quickly! We were all hungry and I did forget to take pictures of all the dishes but manage to get some and a group shot! LolOverall, everything was great and flavorful! The service was outstanding and very attentive. I had a chance to chat with our server and speak some tagalog with her since none of my Filipino friends with us at the time spoke any. HahahaThey all enjoyed the food and we pretty much cleaned up all the dishes with very little leftovers if there was even any.Of course I had to comeback the following day and have some dishes that are a bit more serious and exocitc! They have pinapaitan!!! One of my favorite dishes!I will be back albeit a bit of a drive but we'll worth it!!!

While I had family visiting town, the family in-town and I felt this would be the perfect location to have dinner to celebrate our reunion. The drive from Frisco to Garland is definitely worth the trip. There was plenty of space to accommodate our large party of 15. The staff was very friendly and super helpful with the menu selections. I can't remember what we all ordered, but I do remember we ordered our own selection and then ate from each other's dishes! LOL!Here is what I remembered this most:1. Chicken Adobo - very delicious!2. Beef Pares - the fried rice paired with the beef was excellent!3. Sizzling Sisig - I think multiple family members ordered this - it was enjoyed by all!4. Bistek - great comfort food! And dessert was AMAZING!!! Halo-halo is a must try if you've never had it. The presentation and serving is most impressive. Also try the turon - a sweet and crispy banana roll served with ice cream was the best way to finish off the delicious meal!I highly recommend a visit to Taste of Philippines!

It was our first time so we decided to try our favorites Chicken Adobo - lacking vinegar and too much sauce. Did not have any bay leaves. Both vinegar and bay leaves are important in Adobo.Sisig - it came out sizzling and tasted greatFried Fish balls - seems like fish balls from a storeLumpia - fried and tasted great.Pancit Palabok - too much sauce however it tasted great. However Jollibee palabok tastes better. Maybe it lacked garlic.Halo Halo had Buko Pandam ice cream instead of Ube ice cream. They must have ran out of Ube ice cream and we were not told about it. Tasted good but lacked ingrediants like corn, macapuno. beansWe were given a dish of white rice too with no charge.Service was excellent. The prices are better than what we got in other Filipino restaurants around DFW.
