Always good to know what the menu has...
3 chicken tacos with "everything" on a single corn tortilla (special request) ... my favorite!
Pastor & Barbacoa
Ha ha ha!!!...What if I only want one taco? No hot sauce for me?

I have to say I really enjoyed the food here and it was surprisingly filling! With covid, they only have a window on their storefront that they are taking orders through, but your order comes out quickly.I got a few tacos and quesadillas for a late night craving. They have 2 salsas - a mild green and a pretty spicy (but smoky and super flavorful) red. For my taste, the meats did end up being missing a bit of salt, but they provide ample salt packets which help brighten up the flavor and tasted really good.Overall, I really like the place and will happily return for more delicious tacos!

Talk about a great find. I was getting donuts at Gram's next door when I overheard a customer saying they were also getting tacos at La Paisanita. I had no idea such AMAZING tacos were so close by. $1.85 per taco$7.49 for 3 taco plate + rice and beans$12.99 per pound of meat Sell Fajita (beef), Pastor (Pork), Pollo (chicken), Barbacoa (Mexican BBQ), and Lengua (tongue). The Barbacoa tacos are so unbelievably good, they weren't greasy or slimy and no chunks of fat. It was just deliciously seasoned and cooked meat made to perfection. An absolute must with corn tortillas! The beef was also good, but not as seasoned and kind of dry- just ok. The chicken was greasy and pooled- wouldn't get again. I got the 3 taco plate which wasn't worth it in my opinion. The beans were watery and the rice is bland. Better to buy more tacos then waste money on rice and beans. Also, they gave one red and one green sauce. The red sauce is definitely super spicy so here is your warning. I usually like extra sauce on my tacos but they charge .25 cents more for extras. However, one of each was more than enough for my three tacos. Definitely will come again. Would like to try their breakfast tacos next!! They take phone orders. I ordered with a friend at 11:30 am and the line was already long with 5 people quickly getting behind us and two people ahead. Even with a crowd of people forming, it took less than 10 minutes to get both of our orders! Pretty fast service.

Friendly small taco spot. The tacos overall are pretty good. The meat was well seasoned on my pastor tacos. I loved all the cilantro and raw onions. The green sauce was also spicy and delicious. The nice bonus feature is they also give you grilled onions on the side. If I was in the neighborhood I would grab a few.

Taste: 5/5Pretty authentic street tacos. Everything was nicely seasoned. The beef was a bit dry alone, but the green salsa provided made it much better.

I used to come here once a week because i was so addicted to their tacos. I would always get their special, which is 3 tacos with rice and beans. On top of that id get a horchata and 2-3 more tacos. I first fell in love with their lengua tacos. They stew it for a long long time, so all the fat and meat turn super tender, and you can't really tell it's tongue meat anymore. Their barbacoa is also super tender and juicy. Best part is i can get everything on corn tortilla. Their salsa is also amazing. Green sauce is mild, a bit more citrusy. Red sauce is deathly hot, but it tastes so damn good. It has a smoky taste to it that pairs well with the meats. I love getting the breakfast tacos here too. Whether it is potato and egg or chorizo and egg, everything is always seasoned to perfection. This place opens late to 4am on weekends, perfect for drunk foods. Lastly, service is always fast and friendly. The place is a little rundown looking shack, so some germaphobes or clean freaks may hate it, but doesn't bother me. Update- recently their lengua quality has been inconsistent- frequently tough and undercooked. The pork tacos, as I've found out after trying more places, is just not that good. Thus I had to deduct some stars. I still come here for their breakfast tacos though.

I've been a couple of times for lunch and each time I get the chicken torta. I have yet to try the tacos but my coworkers seem to enjoy them each time! So, the torta... The Bread - toasted just right, the right amount of crisp on the outside while still soft inside. The Chicken - good flavors, they don't skimp out on the portion either. The Filling - tomato, a cilantro/onion mixture, and lettuceWays to improve - It's missing any wet ingredients. I'm used to a torta to have some kind of mayo, sour cream, or avocado in it! Yes, there is sour cream... on the side for $.50, but I need at least two of those bad boys. And, they do not offer fries as a side. It's about $9 for the torta itself. There is rice and beans as a side for an extra charge but trying the rice once, it was bland with no flavor. Maybe next time I'll try the tacos. But I'm a creature of habit I'll get the torta, extra sour cream please.

The fajita quesadilla looks so sad. Look at the diameter ratio of the tortilla to the fillings as well as the amount of meat and especially cheese given. On top of that, fajita meat was dry. This is not worth $4.85 plus tax. I would not recommend.

I love this place, the only reason I'm giving it a two star is being the owner doesn't want to fix their AC. It's 108 degrees outside and they have these people working in the heat! How can an owner let these workers, work in this kind of conditions!??? DO BETTER! I know they make good money, the owners are just being cheap!
