We found our new favorite local taco place! The food is amazing! Ambiance: counter order, casual, plenty of seating Service: very friendly! You order at the counter, and they'll bring your food to your table. After eating, you'll need to discard the trash at the trash receptacle. Food: The tacos were made to order. Generous amount of steak in my steak tacos. The cilantro, onion, and lime were very fresh! My husband and I shared the elote "corn in the cup" (not pictured). It was a very generous serving that was perfect for the both of us! However, it was so good I can probably finish the whole thing myself!

Taquería & Tamaleria Nuevo León just opened a new location in Murphy, so I had to try it. They have a taco Tuesday deal for $1 trompo tacos, so I had to stock up on those. My sister has went to pick up a order of 25 tacos, but they were missing 15 tacos when they picked up their order. I went to collect the other 15 and they were very kind and apologetic when I got them. I appreciated that. The to go orders are in the front counter. The vibes inside were actually nice and had plenty of people seated. They also have an outside dining area as well.The order comes with beans which are really good, the traditional onions/cilantro which tastes fresh, and Verde/orange sauces. Be warned that the Verde sauce has a spicy undercover kick to it. The real winner here is the trompo tacos. The order was actually still hot when I ate them. The tacos and plenty of meat which I adored because some places sketch out on the meats.I would definitely come back for taco Tuesday. Definitely a hit for me and they were super cool about the missing tacos. Good vibes

i love taco tuesdays!!! $.99 trompo tacos every tuesday from 7am to 10pm!! i ordered 20 tacos to go for me and my family and i got our order within 10 minutes even though they were busy! i like how they gave us a separate box filled with the veggies and sauces so that it wouldn't get mixed with the tacostrompo tacos (5/5) - SOO tasty! and they gave so much meat for each taco so you're getting the bang for your buck!horchata (4/5) - i like how it's not super sweet but it did taste watered down

These are some good tacos at an inexpensive price. The service is great and the ambiance is a cute fast food spot

11/5/24: First time here. We dined in. It took a VERY long time (about 30 minutes) for our food to arrive. We had trompo tacos, which were the special item of the day, carne asada tacos and a chicken taco. The food was bland, which was surprising. The restaurant looked clean, and they had a small patio area. Plenty of parking outside.

I ordered the birria tacos from here. They were okay, nothing exceptional. I feel like the tortilla and meat weren't that tasty

I've only been here once, but I loved their carne asada tacos, rice, beans, and churros! Told my husband we need to go back soon!

Everything 10/10, lot of meat with good flavor and intestines very crispy. it reminds me of street tacos in LA. I'm happy that finally in Murphy area have a good tacos place.

New place close by so wanted to try it... walked in and the place was very clean. Ordering was easy at the counter and food was reasonably priced. Got my cup, walked around d to fill it, and noticed a flavor your own elote section. Sat at my table, they brought my food in a short amount of time, and it looked delicious. It wasn't as hot as I'd hoped it'd be, but it was warm and had good flavor. Recommend trying this place and I will return.

So excited this location is finally open. Food was great and service was quick. Smaller location than the one in garland but clean and cute inside.
