Was at Tande Thai for our first family outing to celebrate our younger one's birthday. Glad that we picked Tande Thai, the ambiance and food matched our expectation and occasion. She was there once before with her friends and hence picked Fried Tofu for appetizer, it had sufficient quantity to be shared across the family and was tasty. Though it was fried, it wasn't oozing with oil and the sauce did its job of over powering the impact of oil. For main course, we ordered Drunken Noodles, Curry Chicken Noodles, Pad See Ew and Yellow Chicken Curry. The Drunken Noodles was the best, they changed the type of noodles used due to heavy rush in the kitchen which elevated the taste quite a bit. Rest of the dishes were also nice, we squared them off. Plating and portion sizes are also good - it is definitely pricier than other Thai restaurants around. Compared to other Thai restaurants, Tande Thai scores on ambiance, level of service and presentation much better - definitely a place for special occasions. The menu is fairly simple and doesn't have a big range but they seem to do a good job with what they offer. Our server, Ethan, was very pleasant and engaged adequately. He asked whether there was a special reason for the dinner outing and on confirming that it is a birthday, he made sure to bring in a slice of cheese cake on the house. The cake was nice, wasn't overly sweet and had a slice of lemon which helped neutralize the sugar.

Was excited to try this place cause of the raving reviews. Once you spot this place you will be taken in by the beautiful decor in the front and throughout the restaurant. We went on a Tuesday and were pleased to find they have happy hour all day on Tuesdays as well as live music. Chicken flat bread - tastyThai tea - good!Pad See Eww beef - solidCurry Noodles - our party found the noodle choice didn't compliment the sauceChicken Wings - big size and tastyOn that note you're definitely paying upscale price for the area you're in, the food is good but I wouldn't say better than my local Thai restaurants. We were also told there was no upcharge to change proteins (specifically chicken to beef) but on the bill there was $2 extra to change the protein). Also noted that there wasn't any chopsticks for the silverware (guessing you have to specifically ask for them). Their dishes don't come with spice levels like typical Thai places but you can ask for chili oil/sauce/powder on the side. We enjoyed our experience overall cause of ambiance but will probably stick to our local Thai Restaurant.

First of all, lovely location. Ambiance and the service was amazing. When it comes to food, I didn't like the fact that the food wasn't spicy, they gave us chilli oil and flakes on the side but could have been better. We were a group of 4 and tried several dishes like green curry beef, yellow curry with tofu, chicken kho soi and drunken noodles with shrimp. Out of all the curries were good, not super coconut based. All in all a good experience but not sure if would want to come again.

This spot is so well decorated, and the service was excellent! We were offered thai iced tea with or without cream depending on how balanced/strong we like our tea. Our server offered me a separate menu that listed all allergens, and I was able to order a secret menu item - the curried fried rice with fried chicken which was excellent. Will definitely be coming back in the summer to try their mango sticky rice whenever mangoes are back in season.

Upscale Thai restaurant in The grandscape. We ordered green curry, laab, and drunken noodle. All the food tasted good but didn't necessarily feel authentic, except for the Drunken noodles. Drunken noodle was great, I loved the flavor of the dish. Green curry was good too. Laab was very different from what we get from other authentic Thai restaurants but it was still good. If we're in the area and craving Thai food, I would think of this place but if you expect authenticity this is not a place for you.

I really wanted this place to be good, but unfortunately, it's so new and the kitchen demolished most of the food. The curry vegetables are so overcooked they were like mush. And most dishes were over seasoned and not simple.Service on the other hand was great. Accommodating and learning everything, hence for my two stars for service. Excellent!

This place is absolutely amazing. Jacob took great care of us and did an excellent job explaining the menu and background about the restaurant since it was our first visit. It's a hidden gem in Grandscape across from The Red Phone Booth. The food did not disappoint. The short rib fell off the bone and my chicken pad see ew was savory and delicious! We will definitely be back. The appetizer wings were awesome also. I highly recommend you try this place and ask for Jacob!
