Tacos El Loco is a new authentic Mexican food restaurant in Irving on S. Beltline Rd. It's next to Shorty's Cafe and across the street from Doan's Nursery.It's small, with around eight tables, but it's clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Drinks are bottled with the exception of a few aguas frescas.I ordered two Sopes al pastor, but there are several meat choices available. They brought two tasty salsas to the table, salsa verde and salsa de habanero. Both delicious! The sopes are square (which is different) and they are HUGE, so I took one to go.The ability to speak some Spanish is very helpful here, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from trying out this new little Irving gem.
