Loved it!! Price was fair and it wasn't packed. Took our own snacks, set up chairs under the trees. Will definitely come back!

It's alright nothing has changed since 2008.They need to clean before they open the gate. It's a bummer my little ones had to stop and get out and wait till they were done. It's laziness maybe an issue with maintaining -didn't seem too clean. I don't know but whatever. It's a one star. It's not hard to grab a broom sweep out the showers.

I'm new to the neighborhood, this was a great find. Clean, affordable, and friendly staff. My only complaint is some of the damaged showers. Great for birthday parties, or just to take the kids, specially the little ones. The kiddy Park is really cute. A good 8-10 score.

Place is great! They allow service dogs just can't get the dog in water! Also allow coolers with anything but glass and alcohol! It's relaxing place to chill, it's basically one big pool that makes waves off and on! They have a kiddy area but didn't check that area out! They have showers and changing area. Staff was friendly and lifeguards on duty. Worth the $$!

My 5 and 8 yr-old had a blast. We went on a week day afternoon around 11. The lifeguards are very attentive and the wave pool wasn't crowded at all. The waves come about every 15-20 mins and the water ranges from 0-5ft6in. It was nice to have a place where my 5yr-old could enjoy everything with no issue. He's too small to really enjoy some of the larger waterparks. They also let you bring your own food and drinks in coolers.

Short review - Bridges that price-sensitive gap between a city pool and a water park. Good - Surf and Swim consists of a decent splash pad for toddlers and preschoolers and a good-sized wave pool. That's it. But for $5/kid and $6/adult (under 2 free), it doesn't break the bank for a Saturday.Bad - the crowds (don't let go of your tube once you find one), parking can be tight, the restrooms aren't always in nice shape and it's a bit of a drive for me from north Garland. I also had a problem last year when my son was bored by the splash pad but not skilled enough to thoroughly enjoy himself in a crowded wave pool. If this complex had a zero-depth regular pool, it would definitely be 4 stars. Coupons can be found in the Entertainment book and occasionally other places - check their website at www.surfandswim.org

Though this place has two water areas, a water pad for little ones and a large wave pool for everyone else, it's pretty nice. I took three 12 year old boys there today and was not sure if they would bore quickly. From what I gathered, they did not. And thuere's quite a bit of shade to grab if you get there early, like 11am. By the time I sat down and got settled, I was in perfect position to read a book and people watch. People come in droves though. Get there early to get a spot and a chair. You can bring your own food and drinks, no glass...they WILL make you give up the jar or put the contents in a baggie no matter what is is....even salsa!I was there on a Groupon. Enjoyed ourselves very much. But it's cheap anyway. Give it a try.

Awesome place kids love the waves. Parents need to keep a close eye on their kids cause those waves aren't no joke they will take you. Even if you don't get in the water you must pay just to enter the water park smh. Wish they had more benches to sit and eat . No water slides either. Went back Sunday 7-16-17 with my hubby and his brother with his fiance. They open up at noon on Sunday. Well my brother in law's fiance almost drown when the waves came and flip her from the clear tube. She was panicking in the water my brother in law went swimming over to get her. But she was so hysterical & she started dunking him down. The lifeguards took awhile to see what was happening I even tried flagging them down & nothing. It was so scary to see this while lifeguards had no idea. It took them long enough to realize what was happening. Finally they jump in & shut the pool area for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then let everyone back in. They really do need more lifeguards on duty. Or have a shut down button to stop the waves from coming.

Fun amazing place...went here for my lovely daugther birthday and I had a ton of fun. The area that you will have the birthday party at is very spacious. They actually keep the park clean. Prices are reasonable and I would not lie to you. The water is very refreshing as well.Staff of the park is very friendly. Restrooms needs some work. I like the fact that they actually have music that you can hear. The only con I would say is they need to stay open a little later, but other than that this is one of the hot spots

Park itself is nice, updated, and the concept is great. Subtract 2 stars because is was pretty dirty. Needs a good sweeping and bathrooms were really bad too.I don't know about the filter situation in a wave pool but there were quite a lot of hair balls, grass, leaves, and feathers in the water. Like a lot of hair. Pretty gross.
