Summer Hill Farms

Summer hill farms was wonderful . My partner and I enjoyed the hosts and the other patrons! I miss my horse already.

My daughter has been riding at Summer Hill Farms for over a year and we could not be more pleased. The level of care the horses receive here is, in my opinion, unsurpassed. The riders are taught to care for the horses as well as respect each other. The instructors work very well together, so if we need to make up a lesson, my daughter does just fine with one instructor over another. She usually takes a small group lesson but at times ends up riding solo, and both are beneficial. Although my daughter does not compete, she's treated with the same care and attention as those who do. The farm is always being updated with new buildings being added and barns upgraded. We highly recommend Summer Hill Farms to anyone looking for a quality English riding facility.

They are cheating shows! They jump 3 foot at home and at their barn but at shows they jump walk trot cross rails!! Its not fair for anyone they are just greedy snobs. They cheat just to get grand champion!

This is, in my opinion, the best horse back riding and horse training facility there is. Summer Hill offers a program to fit every horse and rider. If you have never ridden before they have a excellent beginner program with a trainer that has ridden with the head trainers since she was a child (that means that when you are ready to advance you will not have any confusion as all three have an identical teaching style.) If you are a more experienced rider, they will tailor your training program to best fit you (and your horse if you have one)!!! The head trainer has been working with horses for most of her life, and has been teaching for over 15 years now. She has an amazing natural ability with horses and is now joined by her daughter as her assistant head trainer. If you are looking to board your horse they off a full custom care program designed to fit your horse and what he needs. Top notch!!! I can go on forever about how great this place is!!!!

Sadly, after kindly asking questions about my daughter being able to tack her horse like the other kids, and as stated in the website, I was called passive aggressive and my daughter even dropped from the program. I did not curse, yell, nor was rude. I am shocked by the unprofessionalism and lack of curtesy shown to my daughter and I. She did enjoy her lessons and hoped to continue but now we were told she cannot. Very disappointed.
