Sugar & Sage Bakery

I typically don't like cold brew, but I loved the one I had here! There are a lot of tables and seating for the space, but it does get pretty crowded with others coming to study, work, and chat too. Parking is limited because they share the lot with a lot of other businesses.

Upon walking in you immediately get a charming retro era French cafe vibe. It's not very large but what they've done with the space is beautiful and I love the attention to detail. The service was amazing, both women I spoke to were very attentive and didn't make me feel rushed to order. I did notice a woman later that looked like she may own or manage. She had a wonderful smile and managed her team very well. When I did get to order I asked for a recommendation between the strawberry mocha or sage latte. The woman at the counter said the sage latte is her go to and I thought of course, I have to try the sage latte if I'm at a place called sugar & sage. Also, I love that this place is affordable. I had never tried a sage latte. I will say this latte is now in my top 3 best lattes I've ever enjoyed and the latte art was absolutely beautiful! The flavor of sage was subtle yet elevated the experience. I will definitely be showing this place to my friends. I also ordered the pain de chocolat which was a beautiful chocolate croissant. The woman up front let me know all of the pastries are baked in house. THIS IS WHAT I MISS. There are so many coffee shops popping up but when you find a place that is passionate about their craft it makes a difference. I am personally not a fan of delivered bakery items in coffee shops. This was hands down the best chocolate croissant I've ever had. The chocolate was not too sweet, the croissant was beautiful and buttery with the most delicate sprinkle of confectioners sugar on top. The decor inside was beautiful, I loved the soft pinks and touches of gold throughout the retro feel. My only recommendation would be to incorporate some more live plants. This place is too beautiful for faux. The patio was also beautiful, it's simple yet stunning. I'm sad that they close at 4 because I did notice some string lights that I'm sure look beautiful at night. The bathroom is also beautiful, they had a lovely candle burning. Also, this place closes at 4 and they are pretty sharp on it which is completely understandable so if you arrive at 3 prepare to enjoy the space for about an hour. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back.

I tried the seasonal Salted Caramel Iced Coffee, while it was a fun twist, it ended up being a little too salty for my taste. I'd definitely go back to try some of their other drinks, as they have a lot of options that look great!On the other hand, the cupcakes were fantastic! They were very moist with just the right amount of icing--not too sweet but still perfectly indulgent. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more drinks and treats!

Let's get into the food & coffee: everything is made in house and fresh!! I'm a big fan of fresh and in-house. So anything I've gotten hasn't failed in taste. Some items are seasonal and sometimes I can't keep track of what will always be available but anything you get will satisfy you. Top recommendations: Gravy & Sausage biscuit, Chicken Salad Sandwich, any of their fresh breads. absolutely love their signature coffees. You can get most of them hot or iced. Owner is super sweet!

Stopped in 20 minutes before closing for emergency pastries. Lucky I did. They helped me pick a variety of cupcakes, cookies and croissants. They were all a huge hit! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Cute little shop, worth a visit for some delicious baked goods!

We had such a great experience here! We took our kids on a date after going to see the giant teddy bear statues.The pastry is top notch -- very flaky, yummy, and well baked. No complaints!Our kids were given ice cream to sample as they had just made a batch. They loved it and so did we! It was so sweet of them to offer. We felt very well taken care of.Very instagrammable patio but not a ton of shade on a hot day.We will absolutely be back!

This coffee shop has one of the best interior decor around, with matching wall decor and furniture, creating a welcoming environment. The service was great.The bacon and cheese scone I ordered was decent, I should've asked for it to be toasted, definitely would've been even better. The strawberry foam cold brew was also not bad, could use a little more foam but the coffee was smooth.I would return to try some other pastry options since they have so many. Also good for getting a pastry box to go.

Want a coffee that's got a sophisticated spin to it? Try the latte with brown sugar sage. It's very tasty with a slight sage aftertaste. I think it's a perfect blend of coffee roast and sage flavor with a slight sweetness to it.The croissant is heavier and fuller but still tastes crispy and comes out nice and hot.Great place to come and relax. The interior and outdoor seating area is very homey and classy. Service is exceptional!

I was really looking forward to trying thisPlace. I got the brown sugar latte and it was not goodAt all. It didn't even taste like there was coffee in it. I was so disappointed. I did get the ham and cheese crossiant as well which was good. The ambiance is nice,However seating is limited and when we cameOn Sunday morning there was no were to sit.

i have a whole play list of cafes to try, and sugar + sage was the closest to me as i was running errands. absolutely love this place. everything is very modern, clean, and fresh. there are plenty of places to sit, both inside and outside. the service is fast and attentive; however, when i asked the cashier if i could sub something else for the bacon & cheese scone... they acted like i was asking for someone to pick the bacon out of the scone (they have meal deals, i wanted to try the kinda sweet kinda savory option). ended up ordering a la carte: egg bites, jalapeño + cheese danish, something chocolate brioche ‍, and an iced strawberry mocha w/ vanilla. everything was great!! like not a single complaint, besides the "sub-gate". even the egg bites were seasoned like someone gives a damn. would definitely recommend & will definitely be returning! bon appétit
