I was in town and meeting up with the cousins who frequent Sueno. I was pleasantly surprised by the setting and immediate service. Each server was so happy to be of assistance and made excellent suggestions. I had the shrimp tacos and also tried a birria taco. Both were really great and full of flavor. The highlights were the chips and salsa and churros. I've never had such delicious churros. Don't miss them. They also do a smoking Old Fashion that is impressive. If you're with an Old Fashion lover, get it just for the show! Also Christian came by at the end and was awesome!

I've been to this restaurant four times now, and at first, it was love at first bite. Fresh flavors, incredible food, and cocktails that could make a Monday feel like a Saturday. And while the cocktails still bring their A-game, my most recent food experience felt like a plot twist I didn't see coming.Let's start with the ceviche--usually my go-to, but this time? It took a detour into Vinegarville, leaving the lime flavor behind. The texture was Spot on. The flavor was not there. It needed a bit more salt and a lot more wow.Next up, the birria tacos. The meat, Juicy. The cheese, Melty. The tortilla, Soggy. And the consomé, was more of a warm water w/ color. The flautas, Solid. Crispy, tasty, and paired with a salsa verde that was the real good. The rice and beans, They did their job, nothing more, nothing less. And then, the grand finale: the churros. Perfectly crispy, warm, and paired with ice cream and berries that made me forget all about the ceviche mishap. Now, let's talk service--top-tier. Amy (if I got the name right) was a rockstar, suggesting amazing cocktails and keeping the night flowing smoothly. And speaking of cocktails, they're the real reason I'd come back. Innovative, delicious, and consistent.

We had an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the greeting at the door, seating, and service, we have not one complaint. We sat outside on the covered patio. It was a low key and quaint environment. Amy was our server. Amy's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu and cocktails added the perfect touch to the whole afternoon.Fresh meats, vegetables and cocktails made with housemade purees really elevate the dining experience. The Seared Queso Fundido with pastor was absolutely decadent! The richness of the melted cheese paired with the savory pork, and then brightened up by the pineapple relish was awesome! The relish adding a touch of lightness is a great balance to the richness of the dish. Al Pastor Tacos with pineapple relish strike the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The fresh pineapple relish added a nice burst of flavor to the dish.Homemade corn tortillas made the difference. When they're fresh, they have such a soft yet slightly chewy texture, and the flavor was unbeatable. It paired perfectly with the al pastor and pineapple relish. The cocktails use homemade purées and agave, and were more refined and smoother, without overwhelming sweetness or acidity.

Talk about service!! I want to say thank you to Sueño management and staff for a beautiful, unforgettable, and fun experience last night! From the margarita samples and appetizers while waiting for our table, to the very endearing and knowledgeable service from Alexis. I could tell that everyone who was working last night wanted to be there, wanted to make a great impression, and wanted the diners to leave with a smile on their face. That's so rare these days in the service industry. We enjoyed every minute at your restaurant! I can't express how grateful I am. Keep up the good work!!

Went here for dinner with a friend and we ordered the Tacos De Birria and the Birria Stacked Enchiladas. Tacos De Birria comes with short rib meat, house blended cheese, rice, Mexican coleslaw, and consommé broth. Birria Stacked Enchiladas comes with layers of tortilla, short rib meat, house blended cheese, salsa de guajillo, fried egg, and arroz y frijoles. We enjoyed what we ordered - both dishes were extremely flavorful and filling. Even though it was packed when we got there, we didn't have to wait too long to get our food and customer service was great.

Really wanted to like this place. Reviews are stellar. But, it's about 2.5 stars for me. Only pluses were the chicharrones appetizer and the service. Ambiance is LOUD. Like so loud we couldn't hear each other (we were a group of 6). Place is packed and tables very close to one another. Lady behind me twice bumped me with her chair (she was nice about it). Parking is crazy (yes, they have valet). Main courses were underwhelming. Only 1 of us said they were happy (he had quesadillas). I had brisket tacos. Meh. Best thing on the plate was the Cole slaw. Several had birria tacos and were unimpressed (one remarked that Torchy's is far better). Other person had birria enchiladas and was surprised how small. And the egg on top was fried hard (he didn't order it that way). Pricing is very high for experience and food quality. Won't return. Can't really recommend..

We finally had the opportunity to visit this hidden gem in Richardson! Let's start with the drinks - they were absolutely delicious and exactly what we needed after a long day of showings and contracts. Moving on to the food, I initially had reservations despite the cute exterior, but I'm thrilled to report that not only was the food beautifully plated, but it also tasted amazing! The service was outstanding as well! We had an amazing mesero! The food was both delicious and authentic which was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance truly lived up to the restaurant's name "Sueño". In my humble opinion, you should definitely drop by and check this spot out you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic service by Alejandro, delicious food, nice/clean ambiance, and creative cocktails defines Sueno. Highly recommend their award winning margaritas, martini mexicana, enchiladas, seafood relleno, chips, and fresh guacamole! Only negative is it can get very loud, but a minor inconvenience.
