From the first time I walked in for a tour and met Ryan to the end of our 20th year wedding renewal event, everything was easy, smooth and beautiful! Ryan and Linda communicated great and were very helpful leading up to the event. Then, I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole that was incharge during the event and she was wonderful! Super helpful and present. All our guests that interacted with her said she was great and very approachable and kind! The venue is absolutely stunning! Definitely exceeded our expectations! I would and I will recommend Stone Crest Venue!

Came for a wedding reception 3/14. The wedding was over 4 months ago (11/21/20). That's COVID for you. Event was catered out of Fort Worth, I suspect because the original venue (in Grapevine) shuttered for the pandemic and never reopened. This venue meant an hour drive from north Fort Worth. I had no idea what was in the area, but after 50 minutes of highway driving, we were at our exit. 5 minutes on a surface street, and another 5 on a quaint country road, and we were finally at the gate of Stone Crest Venue. First impression? Pretty, but why here? We get out of the car, and instead of walking to the front of the heavily windowed indoor event space, I went around back.Wow, what a view! I was not expecting to see so much elevation change. I followed a path down, and found another large area with a waterfall, and real wood fire blazing. The fire will later be used for S'more making thanks to little kits on the dessert table. Back inside and this place is absolutely gorgeous. Large patio overlooking the area weddings would occur. Inside plenty of space in the high-ceilinged building. A graceful stairway sweeps down from above. I think changing rooms are up there? Toward the end of the day we were graced with a gorgeous sunset. Bottom line: Definitely worth the drive!PS. Read a couple reviews about the super nice owners. I might have met one, Ryan, if he was wearing a super sharp blue sports coat!

Wow. There are no words to express what a fantastic time I had celebrating my bother in law's wedding at Stone Crest on 3/7. The grounds were clean, pristine, and stunning. The ceremony location was like something out of a Tuscan vineyard (not what I expected from McKinney, TX!). The arbor was gorgeous, pews were modern and pretty, and the faux grass was a nice touch (green all year round!). After the ceremony, we enjoyed cocktail hour on the porch, which was spacious and lovely. After that, we entered the building and we were absolutely blown away. While much of the credit goes to the bride for her style choices - the design and aesthetic of the space itself played a large part. From the vaulted ceilings and chandelier, to the floor to ceiling fireplace and grand staircase - the whole room was like something from a movie. Just stunning in every way. The staff at the venue was present and professional throughout the event, which I noticed and appreciated. Overall, I was blown away by this venue and would LOVE to attend another wedding here. Bravo!

Went to a wedding here and loved the view from the back of the venue. Absolutely gorgeous view of a valley. Outdoor games in the back were fun and plenty of space for a big wedding. The wedding I attended had around 100 and there was tons of space to spread out indoors and outdoors. Upscale rustic decor and lots of attention to detail.

This venue was beautiful! Even when it's empty. I'm a wedding coordinator and the venue manager that I worked with, Kathy, was so helpful before and during the big day. The outdoors ceremony area is spacious and you can decorate the altar however you'd like. I would definitely recommend this venue to future clients!

The owners, Ryan and Linda, are two of the sweetest, most caring, wonderful people to ever work with for our wedding. Their venue is absolutely gorgeous and there is so much character in this place! You can also tell they are very passionate about making your experience perfect and easy. Of all the vendors we've worked with, they have been the very best!!! We just want to say thank you so much!!! We highly recommend Stone Crest to anyone who is looking for the perfect location and who cares to work with such genuine people!

I went here for a wedding. It's a beautiful venue, newer, nice view of valley.................but one big room. The wedding i went to was on a warm day and with lots of people so seating was so so (a little tight) It's way out in the middle of no where, if you're seeking remote, this is it. Only one men's/lady bathroom for all (they hold about 300 people I would think) I just was not impressed. Didn't see much staff as wedding had a wedding planer who was engaged and running the event.......... Enjoyed the wedding, but did not feel the venue added to it what so ever.

Fantastic spot for a wedding or large get together. I went to a wedding at Stone Crest in late January. There were approximately 175-200 people in attendance, and the venue was plenty big for it. It's a little out of the way, but we found it fine with Google maps. It's only about 10 minutes from downtown McKinney, where most of the wedding party and out of town guests stayed. There is plenty of parking as well.We approached the venue from the side, so we saw the outdoor pavilion area first. This is where the wedding was held. As it was January, it was pretty cold, and as the sun was setting it got colder. It was so cold they provided blankets for the ceremony. But, the view behind the bride and groom was gorgeous. The arch backs up to a sprawling view that looked fantastic. The seating was benches, but they were decently comfortable. There wasn't a bad seat, and you could also stand on the porch and get an elevated look if you desired. Very memorable location and I am sure it created some fantastic photographs. The indoor facility is equally as impressive. There's a lot of wood for the rustic log cabin type feel. I think there were approximately 30 tables, but the room didn't feel cramped. There was one bar and an area for dancing. My one complaint would be the bathrooms, there weren't enough for a venue of this size. There was a wait at the men's room almost immediately after the ceremony that lasted most of the night. But, overall it was a fantastic location and I can see why it's a popular wedding spot for north Texas.

I went to a good buddy's wedding here Friday evening (I was a groomsman) and I was very impressed with the venue. The guys had a cool dressing room-even though it was a bit cramped for 9 of us in there- and there was a TV and lots of mirrors. The actual wedding site is outdoors and looked awesome and the background is beautiful. There is a big dance floor and the food they served was good. I would encourage couples to have their wedding here and especially for big weddings (over 150 guests).

Not the best, I mean it was pretty but their rules on cleanliness is a bit ridiculous especially when there's dog poop in the ceremony area. Managements customer service is not that well . Over all it was a really negative experience will not be holding my wedding here ( replying to the owner, it would be under Ashley M, and I live close to McKinney so I am sure it was the correct location thank you.)
