Starship Bagel

Small alleyway next to the eye in downtown. Plenty of seats were available with people walking their dogs and what not. The bagel was amazing and a nice treat after taking a walk.

Heard lots of hype about this place and them winning awards. Went in a Saturday morning, got the millennial falcon with their basil lemon cream cheese and a lox bagel. Garlic and everything. Also got two coffees, an iced latte and an iced mocha.Bagels were super chewy but in a bad way. Almost somewhat rubbery. Schmears were good, especially the basil lemon. Coffee was actually the best part, but that's concerning when your a bagel shop, not a coffee shop.Service was great and they were really nice, however, for my money, I'd rather have Lubbies Bagels any day of the week. Supremely better bagel. Perhaps this place was worth the hype at one point but we won't be coming back.

Got a plain bagel with a side of almond schmear. The bagel itself was a bit of a letdown. It was extremely tough, making it hard to enjoy. However, the honey almond schmear was a definite highlight! It had big chunks of almond and wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated. It paired well with the bagel, even if the texture of the bagel itself wasn't my favorite.Overall, I'd be willing to try again. The schmear is definitely worth coming back for though!

Did not disappoint!! Oh my starship. The Millennium Falcon was spectacular. Got mine with the everything bagel and scallion schmear. The bagel was fresh, warm and salty. Good morning, Dallas!

Starship is one of my fave bagel shops. Anytime my mom visits, she requests to come here and always remarks about how her experience is similar to when she grew up in the tri-state area. The ingredients are always fresh, the schmears are delectable (get the jalapeno!) and the bagel dough has the perfect chewiness to it. I appreciate how quickly the line moves and their recommendations (if something is out for the day).

Whoa this place is dope; it reminds me of a place you'd find in the PNW or New York. It's such a vibe. I only tried their cinnamon raisin bagel and it was so damn good. I need to go back and try everything. The people who work there are so sweet, too. Overall great experience. I'll update with 5 stars for sure once I try their lox.

Even on a freezing cold day my bagel was delicious! Employees were super friendly and quick!

Tiny bagel shop with firm, chewy bagels. Served room temp, would be better toasted IMO. Fresh delicious toppings and schmears. Skeleton staff, only one taking and making orders when we went there today, not enough for the line of patient customers, or the several impatient ones who left due to the glacial pace of arrive to dine progress. Outdoor seating, nice when it's pleasant out and not when it's not. Great storefront view of the giant eyeball sculpture, beautiful in its way, unique and well crafted, a nice unusual conversation piece.

I so badly wanted my experience to be great. It seems like they have been recognized in some of the magazines but maybe the magazines were paid to feature them or they just don't like me. I ordered a lox bagel deconstructed. Super easy to order online and just pick up. The pickup went smoothly however when I got home, there were no lox! I go to the website, see a phone number and no one answers. I then notice the website ask that we text them. I texted them and it's been 24 hours with no answer. I give up. I've spent enough time and energy on one business. I've yet to have a visit that didn't end well: either no bagels, closed without any notice and now missing major items in to go orders. I've really tried to give them a chance but my experience is 1 star for ease of ordering and 1 star for friendly faces at pickup.

Easy to find on Elm. No traffic on Sunday, and we found free street parking right next to it. Starship Bagel is on a pedestrian way and has a few tables and chairs out front. These go fast, so het their early, bring a friend to camp out and hold your table while you wait in line. Oh yes, there will be a line. The line will be long until they run out. They will let everyone know when they run out of bagels. We were fortunate because the bagel man brought a cart full of more bagels about 20 minutes later. We waited and were nearly first in line by the time he arrived. Most people dispersed and came back later. The second run selection was unknown and limited, but we managed to get what we wanted.No toasting allowed! This made my hubby sad, but we understood the company's need to get through the line of people as quickly as possible. Toasting a bagel for each customer would have added several more minutes to waiting in line. No one would have been happy about that. We both got the Starship Super Nova m, salmon on top of a schmear and bagel of our choice. I chose a plain bagel but topped it with a jalapeño schmear. Loved it! Also loved the Zaatar bagel that I bought just to try later. Oh so good and making me want to return for more.
