This is an ok facility. If you come for an event bring a jacket. It gets pretty cold even when the ice is covered. Some parts of it are not kept well. Under the stands are private bathrooms. They are not well kept. While everything looks semi clean, the bathrooms reek of urine. Every door under the stands is dirty. It has marks where everyone regularly puts their hands. The staff is decent. Some of the workers are very friendly and some act as if they hate life. Not the worst facility for an event

Good for hockey and cheer, but viewing for games has poor choices. We have been here three times, once for a cheer competition and the other two times for hockey games. This is a great building. The ice is great. The cheer gym was organized. For the cheer competition, it was easy to see. Hockey, though, there's nowhere to watch outside of the rink itself. Also they will nickel and dime you on everything. You nees to pay to park, pay just to get here. You will almost have to take a toll road to get here. There are fun places to eat nearby.

My son's preschool teacher is a Legend's Dancer. We we were offered tickets and jumped on the chance to go to a game. I have to say I didn't know what to expect. I have been to Mavericks games, but this is nothing like it. Have you ever been to a three ring circus? Well, on the first ring is inflatables and games for the kids. The second ring is ...on wait a minute, what you came for, the basketball game. The third ring is beach volleyball and hula hoops. I was very torn as a mom. At first I thought we need to be respectful and watch this game. Then, as we sat there I realized I guess it alright to go and play during the game. Needless to say, my boys had a blast. They want to go back. It is not your typical basketball game. It is a very large party!

We're currently at a robotics tournament. We weren't allowed to bring in drinks (including water) but there's nowhere near the arena to purchase drinks. This has been a day long event, and we are thirsty. This started at 7:30am, and it's currently 3:50pm. That's really bad for people not to even be able to find a water fountain. At this rate, I'm honestly amazed that they even give you a place to use the restroom.

These incompetent buffoons are the reason that Allen ice rink is growing and teams are quitting. The gross mismanagement of the hockey leagues has gotten almost laughably ridiculous. This past week, I showed up to play hockey with my team. This would be our 11th game of the season. At the front desk, I don't seem to be on the printed roster. They've printed out some strange roster with people I've never heard of. I explain to them that they've got the wrong roster so they ask me to show me evidence of me being on the team, which I do via Hockey Shift, and they let me sign in. As the warm up is ending, the high school aged scorekeeper informs me that I'm not on the roster. I've played 8 games with this team, missed two, and have one assist. I'm not a great player, but my single assist and 8 game history on Hockey Shift is proof and evidence of my being on the team. This self aggrandizing 16 year old scorekeeper insists that since I'm not printed on their roster, I can't play. That if I stay on the ice, my team has to forfeit the game. Having paid some $300 to play a full season of hockey, that we're well past the middle of, my team refuses. It's not OUR fault that the scorekeeper printed out the wrong roster and has multiple people listed incorrectly on it. The refs tell us that they're fine with me playing, particularly since the front desk already approved it. The OTHER TEAM skates over, wondering what is going on, and since we've played them several times before, they obviously recognize me and my pink socks and indicate as well that I'm supposed to be on the team and of course have no issues with me playing. We play the game with our correct lineup, win the game, and the idiot teenage scorekeeper records it as a forfeit. Because of their clerical error. We take the issue up with those who oversee the league and they refuse to take accountability for their error and won't correct the standings. In the process, they also completely delete me from their system so all of my stats and play history have now been erased. DPSC doesn't care about the customers that it has, because it has a monopoly over the rinks in the area. They don't bother making coaches available for i-league. They don't monitor player skill level so every league is full of ringers playing multiple levels below their actual level. They don't take any action when elite junior players are registered on beginner/instructional level teams. They just continue to raise team fees and detract from the hockey experience for those who find themselves with no other options.

It's the Dallas Stars practice location, great place to see the Stars practice... The players are great with their fans... There's also youth and adult hockey programs there.... Many who complain expect perfection in every aspect , no place is perfect, not even the AAC....

My daughter has been in the skating class for the last year or so. I have to say their instructors are awesome, but their management and problem solving ability is really really bad. When the online schedule clearly shows there is a class section for my daughter (TOT2, Thursday at 6), I had to ask for help EVERY SINGLE week for them to assign a instructor for her class. I brought this up to their attention every time this happened, and it appeared they never try to solve this problem. I had to waste 10 mins (out of 30 mins class time) for unnecessary discussion to have the exact same problem solved. This is ridiculous!!!

I wish I could give a zero star. Bought skates and the wrong size was ordered by the staff. I tried to exchange them but they resisted and said that the boot just needs to be broken in and stretched. That didn't work. Rink closed for a month. New manager a month later. My wife and I left many many voicemails and messages. We also tried multiple times to drop in for a face to face meeting. Manager was never there. Nobody ever contacted us. Not once. Don't expect any level of customer service. They are happy to take your money but will resist you at every turn if there is an issue.
