My wife has a pedicure done close by, so I get a big treat every 6-8 weeks. I always ask for my wife to bring an order of Tibs, their GREAT Cottage Cheese and extra injera back to our house in McKinney.Always cooked just right ! !

Had the pleasure of trying their food the past weekend and it was my first time having Ethiopian food and it did not disappoint. It was fresh and all the food blend so well and it tasted like an authentic meal cooked by someone mother and I appreciate that!

Beef tips, no jalapeño, with greens and injera. So good. The lady that is always at the register is super sweet, as well.

Food was really good, really spicy and service was great! I placed an order for pickup and it was ready in 15 mins. The veg plate is amazing! It comes with 5-6 veggies and all havecso much flavor. Now I ordered the lamb tibs and they needed flavor or seasoning it was a bit plain but delicious. I wouldn't recommend to come and eat in the restaurant it's really small in a weird neighborhood but ordering takeout is the way to go! Portion are big as well. I am satisfied with this restaurant

Best place hands down. I tried this food for the first time 4 years ago & fell in love. As the years passed, I moved out of the area. Tried other Ethiopian places near me but they never exceeded my expectations in taste like Star Bukris has. Anytime I crave it, I gladly take the 30min drive. The veggie combo & doro wot is my go-to comfort food

If I can enter a restaurant and here a direct quote of an employee in front of me, telling a guy that he wont get food if he complains. after waiting 20 minutes myself. that is just terrible customer service. mind you everyone is using their speaking voice here. Ive consistently had experience of ordering and being told by the lady that I will receive my order in 10 minutes. every single time it's been 20-25. Idk the owners would have to personally contact me to make this right. receiving consistently terrible customer service is not a good feeling

Definitely the friendliest and freshest Ethiopian food. Doro wat was my favorite, but also took many other entrees to go and they were all good. Staff was so friendly and accommodating and helpful. Will recommend to anyone else looking for good Ethiopian in the area.

Huge portions of delicious food. The veggie combo is delicious. Always generous with injera too. I never have to ask for extra. I think 1 combo could easily feed 2 people.

I love this place I love the family the owner everyone is very sweet and catering to all the customers. I been going here for over 10ths. Definitely yum!!!!!
