I want to talk about the Ambiance first because that's what got my attention. I love how it's inviting. It's definitely a place to go if you're craving BBQ. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. There's also private area for events/parties. The back area reminds me of when my family throws a backyard BBQ. I love it. You can mix and mingle with all the people. The food was good. There wasn't anything specific in the menu with a wow factor but it was good enough. A very fun and entertaining place to be with family.

Went here while I am visiting family in Texas! I'm from California so I definitely had to try BBQ and this place didn't disappoint! First of all the ambience was great! Lots of space and super chill and relaxing! The service was incredible. The bartender was so funny and sweet! My friend mentioned one day she has to try catfish cause she never has and he was shocked and went to grab a free piece for her to try! So nice! We ate so good and I highly recommend the food

If you want to try real Texas barbecue, this is a great spot. These people really know what they're doing. No matter what you like you can try any meat and you won't regret it. It's a huge place so you can come with a big party and still have room to stretch out and enjoy yourself. And if you come on a nicer day, you can sit outside and there's even a playground for the kids.

Perfect place to wind down, enjoy great music and food. The BBQ is the best I've had. Ribs are fall off the bone, potato salad is by far the best I've had, sausage is delicious. We had a great time with family and friends and everyone loved the food.

Service was extremely welcoming. Plus the food was even better!!!Had the tender and juicy brisket and fall-off-the-bone ribs with the potato salad and green beans all the flavors were awesome. Came with two of the softest biscuits. No pictures cause I just had to enjoy it. I will be dreaming of this place!

This is one of those places that you definitely have to visit and live the experience.They have cajun buffet Fridays and Saturdays and every single item was really good. Their specialty of course is BBQ, we only tried the ribs and the sausage, both were delicious. Service, atmosphere, and prices are really good.Did I mention that they also have full bar and live music?Do your self a favor a go visit them.

Great place for large groups of friends to gather. Large buffet! Inside is air conditioned outside has live music!

We waited 30 min in line to be told you were sold out of everything.,at 7PM on a Saturday night! Was this bad planning or what? Even if you had sold out of some things you should let your patrons in line know so they don't waste their time waiting around!

We were greeted with a smile, and the staff took the time to explain the menu, including the day's specials, desserts, and everything included in the All You Can Eat buffet. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor really made the experience that much better.The ambiance is perfect for a laid-back BBQ joint. There's a large outdoor seating area that's ideal for enjoying the Texas weather especially if you have a lot of people accompanying you, complete with a playground for the kids, making it great for families. On weekends, they even have live music, which adds a fun, lively vibe to the whole place.As for the food, my wife ordered the chopped brisket sandwich meal, and it was incredible! The brisket was so tender and smoky, with just the right amount of sauce to complement the flavor. It was so much brisket we could have asked for a second set of buns to made another sandwich! It came with a side, and she chose the mac and cheese which was delicious!But what really stood out was the All You Can Eat buffet. It was a feast! The buffet had everything hot and fresh -- fried catfish, Nashville hot chicken tenders and regular chicken tenders, fried shrimp, Cajun pasta, gumbo, fried okra, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, french fries, green beans, potato salad - a whole wide variety of sides! Additionally, they even had a fully stocked salad bar with several dressings and toppings to choose from for a lighter option. To top it off, they had a soft serve machine with vanilla, chocolate, and swirled ice cream. Also the most delicious Texas cobbler for dessert. It felt like a never-ending supply of comfort food, and everything was hot and freshly cooked to perfection.And here's the kicker--the cost was super affordable. We ordered the chopped brisket sandwich meal and the All You Can Eat buffet meal, and together, it was around $40! For such high-quality BBQ and the variety offered, it was an absolute steal.Smoke Monkey BBQ truly has it all: amazing food, a welcoming atmosphere, fantastic service, and great value. Whether you're coming for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends and family, I can't recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

We came across this place while we were driving around Rockwall and are so glad that we stopped here to grab lunch. At the time they had a buffet that looked pretty good so we all decided to get it. The sides were probably some of the best sides I've ever had from a barbecue restaurant as well as the pulled pork. They have a huge outdoor area as well as a kids playground. Overall 10/10!!
