Smackbird Hot Chicken

I put in the address from Yelp to Apple Maps and after driving an hour I don't see the name of the restaurant. Only a place called cowboy chicken. I assume Apple Maps has taken me to the wrong place so I go to Google maps and type in smackbird. It routes me to a place in Carrollton about 15 min away. The friend I was meeting with pulls up to cowboy chicken as well and decides to walk inside. She said it's like a ghost kitchen which you have to order online to get the food. Very confusing for customers like me who I turned back around. I don't think it took more than 30 min to get the food after ordering.The inside is a spaced out seating along the walls of the restaurant. Small intimate setting, casual. Good enough for my friend and I to catch up. However, despite the misunderstandings, food was yummy. I liked the fries. I got the big bird sandwich. Double the chicken patties. I got the 3rd level which is not the highest but probably the good smack. It was a good starting level for me. I could try the highest spice level next time if I'm ever going out this far again. I ordered jalapeño ketchup but either they gave me regular ketchup or there was no difference at all. Overall worth a try. I paid about $13 for the meal which isn't so bad when trying to be on a budget.

First time ordering, decided on the Lil Bird and One Side . The Chicken sandwich wasn't small but it was a bit greasy . My chosen side was fries which were crispy . I ordered lite smack dip which is good smacked my lips used on chicken sandwich and fries . I also requested ketchup. Coleslaw on the side which I didn't touch not a fan . The Banana Pudding is smack . My dasher delivered my food in a timely manner it was still warm .

Took a little time to find the place since there wasn't really a sign, but finally found it by asking.I was turned off by the wait time (basically 30-40 minutes). But I appreciated the good customer service of giving me the large souvenir cup because of the wait. While waiting, I realized the ambiance could use some work. And with the anxiety of waiting and the ambiance, I wasn't really feeling too good about my food. But finally after the long wait, I was given my food and a peach cobbler as a token. I really appreciated the customer service. I immediately opened my food to see if the wait was worth it and the food looked great. Not only did it look great, but it tasted great. I hope the long wait isn't a regular occurrence because I'd recommend this place.

Sides are simple, yet friendly with additional heat options (for example, fries with jalapeño ketchup).While the food is basically above average chicken strips, the mystery of the ghost kitchen + friendly and polite wait staff + tasty sauce options to accompany = a fun experience for a traveler like me. So first things first, the directions attached to this place is now accurate so no need to worry. I ordered directly from their site because like everyone said prior, this is a ghost kitchen. Once I made my order online it came out in the range I was given, the text updates were very good and on time. You will pick up your order on the top shelf from Cowboy Chicken like it states; I didn't need to check in with any of the employees; I walked in, grabbed my food and walked out which was nice.. straight to the point. Now, my food; I ordered the sandwich and the potato dippers and both were impeccable! I love the quick and easy service when it came to this meal, no fluff, no talking.. just great food and vibes.10/10 highly recommend, this was my first time using a ghost kitchen and definitely not my last!

Oh my goodness! This place is GREAAAAT. If you are a fan of spicy chicken, you must get these items. They will not disappoint. And here we gooooo......Atmosphere - 3/5 - Why a 3? Because my pride was hurt haha. I literally drove around the building 3 times before realizing this is a GHOST kitchen. If you want to order, you must download the app and order from the app. This ghost kitchen is located INSIDE Cowboy Chicken. Anyway, the atmosphere is ...well, Cowboy Chicken...nothing fancy, but not the point. It is all about the food.Staff - 5/5 - Very helpful in explaining the process as I was confused being there the first time. So as mentioned above, download the app and order Ahead so you can just pick up. You cannot order any other way. You also can eat there as well.Food - 5/5 - Now the good part. My household is a huge fan of spicy, INCLUDING my 2 year old. That boy can eat hotter than me. But even I wouldn't let him try the levels that this place can do. The hot is HOT.Ordered the following:Smack n' Cheese ($13.50) - 5/5 - It is their HUGE chicken sandwich...topped with? MAC n CHEESE....I did a level 3 and it is a amazing. Nice blend of heat, flavor and spices. 3 Tender Meal ($12.75) - 5/5 - Did a level 4. Um, yeah it has a kick. However, it is so good. If you like spicy, I wouldn't go past level 4. But, I of course had to try the level 5....soooooooHxllSmack Challenge Tender ($5) - I do not know how to rate this. It's friggin hot. So if I had to rate it on how hot....it's definitely 5/5. Flavor? 3/5 - At some point. hot is too hot. Recommend??? Yes, when you want to make your friends hurt inside and out.Mexican Street Corn ($4) - 5/5 - If you don't get this, you are missing OUT. Surprisingly one of the best street corn I have ever had. You must get.Banana Pudding ($4) - 5/5 - Use the free Yelp offer, and if it is no longer offered, get it anyway. It will help with the heat. Overall, this is one of my Top 3 Nashville Chicken spots in Dallas. I will definitely keep coming back. I was confused when this one came up and we found ourselves outside of ... Cowboy Chicken?! Went inside, and the staff was nice and directed us to the Smackbird Hot Chicken ordering screen. Had a seat and waited while sipping on a drink. There were quite a few orders and various people coming in for pickup of both Cowboy Chicken and many, many Smackbird orders. Took roughly about 20 minutes but it was worth the wait because it was one of the tastiest hot chicken sandwich I've had to date! It was beautifully seasoned, nicely crisped and juicy! The flavor was there and not just overpoweringly chili powder or buffalo sauce. Savory!! -- I'm reliving it and craving another one just thinking about it. Will go back again and highly recommend this gem!Estaba confundido cuando surgió este y nos encontramos fuera de... ¡¿Cowboy Chicken?! Always hot and fresh!!! The smacksauce is like no other!!! I love the crispy fries! I had the light smacksauce it has a little kick but it was soooo good!!!!

If you're a fan of the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich, Smackbird is the place for you to visit! This ghost kitchen is located inside of Cowboy Chicken.The chicken sandwich is crispy, flavorful and big with their signature Smacksauce. You can choose your heat level for the hot chicken. LiteSmack has flavor but not noticeable spice, whereas the GoodSmack has the right amount of kick to your bite without being overwhelming! I'll have to come back and try their jumbo tenders because their chicken is so juicy.Grab a side of dippers (potato skin fries) and banana pudding and you've got a full meal! I was taken aback how spicy the lemonade was! It tasted like a blend of lemonade and cayenne, which was a unique experience.

Ok I get you may need to make small increases to the price occasionally but it's getting ridiculous now that you've increased the price again for the 3 finger combo. First coming here the combo was the exact same but was $12 and now this price has skyrocketed to over $19. To me this screams money hungry and has completely turned me off from this place
