Sky Blu Rooftop

They didn't have any warm drinks or coffee based alcoholic drinks. The service was negligent; it's really just the two bartenders that hold down the fort. The only good thing is the ambience! This place is literally inside a Tru by Hilton hotel. The view that is boasts off is only on one side, the other 3 side is highways and parking lots.

I started planning my 50th birthday party at least 9 months prior to the date. I conducted lots of research (via google) and Sky Blu Rooftop Bar made it to the top of the list very quickly. From the initial contact, Erin made me feel like I was Priority 1. She was always available, even the weird hours I had weird questions (lol). I cannot say enough about Erin and her team and how wonderful they are. I must personally acknowledge Charisma, Jakory, Jenny, Michael, and the ENTIRE Valet Team for taking exceptional care of my guests and me. These new friends have become new family now! One of the reasons I chose Sky Blu is because they do not sell food. This allowed me to hire my own caterer to personalize my birthday menu. The MAIN reason I chose Sky Blu was because of the amazing views of the Dallas Skyline. It simple does not get any better than the rooftop views! The room was excellent. It was the perfect size for the tons of stuff I had to bring with me for the celebration. The greatest benefit was staying at the same place the party was happening at. Did I mention we got a great rate too!!!Other reviews mentioned issues with paying the valet fees. The valet fees are cheaper than NOLA, so it wasn't an issue. As I mentioned, the valet team took really good care of our vehicles and helped with luggage. Tru and Sky Blu Rooftop Bar are now the #1 spot on my go-to list when I'm in DFW. Erin, I cannot adequately put into words how blessed I am for you helping me celebrate my BIG 50!!!!

I had a great time at Sky Blu. It's a fairly new location on top of Tru by Hilton and shouldn't be confused with SkyBlossom. It a great place to catch up and grab some drinks. The best part of this location is the view!! You get a great view of the Dallas skyline and it looks amazing at sunset. As of right now, this location only offers drinks but they are working on having vendors stop by in the future. I'm really interested to see what collaborations they have planned. You can also get bottle service. My friends and I went with a bottle of wine and champagne. Definitely add this place to your Dallas rooftop list. Thankfully, there's cooled indoor seating if you want to get out this heat wave. The bartenders were also very nice and had great service.

This is a fairly new lounge in Dallas and it's amazing. This rooftop has a full bar, spacious spacing and my favorite 360 views of the city. Its on the 9th floor of the Tru Hotel where your greeted coming off the elevator by a employee checking id. You'll have a great time and it's a diverse crowd with no DRAMA. The drink menu is delicious and everyone is friendly that I interacted with. They do not sell food. In couple months I say this will be the spot to hangout at. If your in Dallas or visiting you have to come here

Don't waste your time or money. This place seems to be having an identity crisis. Went there with my dad and didn't even finish ours drinks. The wine was hot. The room was hot (temp). The vibes were bad.

Met this amazing guy there. The drinks really helped me too, he was so handsome by the 3rd drink. Totally recommend for a first date or your 100th date together.

The bar is open but if you wanna go outside it's closed there's under some construction. They didn't told me about it at the front desk.

Nothing to review - they only open for private events. Very disappointing. It's next to a market center. These people drink at noon and don't stop. They're lose. Word gets out. Don't stay here

Got there with just 15 minutes of the show to go, due to confusion over when the doors open. It was our first time. Music was good but the ambiance was poor. We booked a table, which you would find at a garage sale. No cloth or small vase to liven it up. Paper napkins, plastic cups, rude front door greet since we were late and no acknowledgment to make it better. I won't go back and I recommend you lower your expectations a lot. And 6:30 is too early as you have to be out by 8, so no stars either.

The rooftop bar has such a great view. We went for a date night to a Fever production with Amy Winehouse cover. The staff were all nice and the bar was well stocked. Only downside was the bartenders were really slow and did not know how to make some drinks on the bars own menu. Not sure how that happens but they may need more training. Other than that it was a great night out.
