Everything about Sister is perfection!!! There are not many places where I wish I could go back literally the next day, but Sister is one of them. The drinks were delicious, the fusion of Italian and Mediterranean is just perfect, and the vibes are so chill. I live in euless and will easily make the drive any day of the week!

Have been everywhere in Dallas, and tonight I landed in the best restaurant in Dallas, and one of the best in North America. Bravo. Not one bad thing to say; it was all fantastic. Also Taylor was the best.

This review is a long time coming. My husband and I have been to Sister twice, the most recent visit being in June of 2024, and I can confidently say that it is my favorite restaurant in all of Dallas (a high mark I know). Sister is a restaurant that spectacularly unpretentious despite its high price tag and air of semi-formality. I think this can be attributed to the fact that they are aiming to create an environment that feels almost familial from the mismatched plates to the greenery that makes you feel as though you've been dropped into a Midsummer Night's Dream. Regardless of the fact that we are two teachers we've never felt unwelcome or out of place. But even the feeling the restaurant gives would not be enough if the food did not also fill you with the same joyfulness that comes with the twinkle lights and plush seating. The food is that good too. The first time we went my husband ordered a cocktail that wasn't on the menu and that was delivered by the bartender themselves to see how he liked it and then engage in a conversation about the drink. This care and attention is given to all the food you will devour. We always start with the Lobster Burrata which is fantastically well-balanced and light, the perfect way to start a meal that will then be filled with as much pasta as you can stomach. In June we followed the Burrata with a Rock Shrimp dish that is no longer on the menu and the Pesto Fusilli. The Pesto Fusilli I would get again in a heartbeat, although it does require you to be a large fan of goat cheese. The goat cheese becomes one of the dominant flavors of the dish, so if you aren't a fan I would avoid the dish altogether, leaving it off would simply not be the same. We ended the night with another dish no longer on the menu, a goat cheese cheesecake (see big fan). What I will say; however, is that we have never ordered anything from the "larger" section so I can't speak to how good any of those dishes are. Nevertheless if you want a restaurant that will make a Houstonian say "I LOVE Dallas" at the end of the meal or to make your evening feel like you've slipped into a place where time has no meaning. That Place is Sister.

Maybe one of the best meals I've had in Dallas! We went for dinner on a Sunday night with a reservation we were seated and seen quickly. Ambiance: super cozy but still nice, feels like your grandmas living room but make it elegant. We sat in the covered patio and stayed toasty.Food: everything we ordered was great! Blue fin tartare, pesto fusilli, Morrocan spiced chicken and chocolate custard cake. Each dish had really dynamic flavors and perfect texture.Would 100% come back!

This was a top notch experience. The ambiance here is warm yet inviting and trendy- perfect for date night or hanging with friends. Our server was very friendly, helped us navigate the menu, and provided great service. We started with drinks and recommend the Sweet Child of Mine. We then got the focaccia bread which is a must have if you go there. It is some of the best restaurant bread I have ever had. Next we got the cacio e pepe potatoes which were great. Lastly, we got the wild boaranaise which I highly recommend. Overall, Sister was a top notch dining experience and we definitely will return.

Ambiance and service were really good. Also, loved the helpful valet that only charges tips. We tried the redfish (excellent according to my friend), the meatballs (lacked enough sauce and was too spicy), and the bucatini (just okay). I really wasn't impressed and felt it was overrated. That said, the overall vibe was fun.

Decided to dine here after seeing all the reviews and I must say I'm impressed with the service, food presentation and the vibe.Interior is well done and gives a very elevated cocktail lounge vibe. My favorite cocktail was the time and trouble. Everything was family style and well portioned for 5 of us.We started with charred octopus, charred carrots and Cacio E Pepe potatoes. Everything was good and flavorful but my favorite were the potato and carrots. For main course we had fusilli pesto, wild boaranaise and akaushi hanger steak. Loved both the pastas and i'm not steak person but I enjoyed that as well. For dessert I recommend trying both chocolate custard cake and Ricotta cheese cake.

Why 5 stars? Because all 3 things that I ordered were unique and awesome. --- --- ---I was heading up to Dallas to see a Mavericks game, so I scouted out the food scene relatively close to the arena. As soon as I came across Sister, I was immediately sold on it. I'm happy to say that reality lived up to expectations.I ordered three things: Lobster and Burrata, Clam Vongole and Ricotta Cheesecake. I texted my wife an abridged review: bomb, bomb and bomb. Each dish had had something interesting and different about it. The lobster and burrata was served cold and had some random ingredients mixed into it that I never would have chosen myself, but they totally worked. The Clam Vongole has a very subtle kick to it that really worked. And the ricotta cheesecake was just perfect - better than regular cheesecake, for sure. The vibe of the place was just as great as the food. It felt much more like dining in NYC than Dallas. You can almost walk right by the place and miss it. I actually did not see it while driving by, as it's just one small door with one small sign.I had time for one dinner during my brief stay in Dallas and I don't think I could have picked a better spot.

So excited that I finally got to try out this darling spot in Dallas. The ambience of the restaurant is incredible and perfect for a date night. The service was amazing and the staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. I don't think our water glasses ever got even halfway empty. We started with the Lobster and Burrata which I will now be thinking about in my dreams for the rest of my life. Then we split the pesto pasta, crispy, Bronzino, and carrots. The fish was delicious, just a little bit spicy, which we didn't expect. The carrots were also fantastic.

Charred Eggplant Dip, Lobster + Burrata, Beets, Broccoli, Pesto Fusili, Wild Boaranaise, Specialty Lamb Pasta, Wagyu Short Rib, Crusted RedfishSeriously wow every Duro restaurant hits. I loved this place!!! I'm already a huge fan of The Charles and El Carlos, and I was thrilled to finally try Sister (and then Mister Charles the next day). I think the food at Sister is as exceptional as The Charles--they do a great job with flavors and textures. The vibe is more family and bright than The Charles, and I am equally obsessed with both. Favorites were the Lobster + burrata and the pastas, but dang everything hit. My little mocktail was delicious too!! And Duro also does a great job with their attentive friendly staff too!
