Just a really good cup of coffee!I came here on my weekly coffee exploration day & was about to leave as the restaurant was not very aesthetic; however, the woman greeted me so kindly so I decided to stick around. The menu is simplistic with no fancy flavors or styles, but I can honestly say this was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. I ordered a hot macchiato that came out to $5 (a steal in today's economy). It came out fresh, hot, and accompanied with raw sugar to add as needed. The coffee was smooth yet rich and very nice for a Sunday sip!While I can't speak to the taste of the food itself, I can say that it smelled absolutely delicious even in my short time there.I will definitely be back & can provide an updated review at that time!

Absolutely loved the experience here and would recommend this spot to everyone. The restaurant was very spacious inside and had beautiful decorations everywhere. The service here was amazing- the staff helped me with recommendations, checked up on me, and taught me how to eat the dish properly. As for the food, it was just as good as the service. I ordered the Beef Tibs which is described as "tender pieces of marinated beef sauteed with onions, garlic, jalapenos, and fresh tomatoes; served juicy, dry, or zilzil." The dish came with plenty of injera (Ethiopian flatbread). I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the dish and can't wait to come back. This restaurant deserves more recognition and I hope more people get to enjoy this spot as much as I did.

If you're looking for authentic Ethiopian dishes this is the spot! The service and quality of food is amazing. Be prepared for a little wait as the food is cooked fresh, always warm and delicious. My recommendation on an order Beef tibs, side of veggies (they will give you an assortment), and lamb tibs. They have tons of other yummy dishes as well.

Authentic! Local! Hole-in-the-wall. This coffee lounge has all of these qualities in spades. So, I guess if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. When I came to visit, all the lights were shut off, I assume to beat the heat. The television was blaring news (all of it bad) and the space was full of men, silently sipping their coffees and just vibing. The coffee shop is in a little business park near a poorly maintained gulch with a homeless encampment. It wasn't a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered a latte which came out piping hot, very, very strong and quite bitter. The menu needs to be updated, as the price was quite a bit higher than listed (but still very affordable). The gentleman who took my coffee order assiduously avoided eye contact with me and was slow to fill the order. I can't say that I'd return to this place, although I am glad I gave it a shot.

Everything here is delicious. I absolutely recommend you try this place out but be prepared if you ask for spicy because they don't disappoint on the spicy.

Went for lunch. Had the tibs and the kitfo. Fantastic food! Don't miss the Ethiopian coffee ceremony. It is truly special.

i ordered the veggie combo and the juicy beef tibs for delivery through UberEats and both dishes arrived warm and delicious. I can't comment on the service or ambiance but i'm excited to dine in one day. the only downside i can think of is that i wish they gave a bit more injera on the side.

I ordered takeout today from this very lovely Ethiopian restaurant. I couldn't wait to sample the injera before I got home and wow- their injera is absolutely delicious...perfect texture and incredibly tasty on its own! Once I made it home, I dug in! The veggie combo was an exciting array of veggie dishes, each super-flavorful- my favorites were the greens, the cabbage and the beets. Maybe the best beets I've ever eaten. The Lamb Tibs were so beyond flavorful, the meat was prepared perfectly- so juicy! Tsom Firfir was equally as delicious. They sent a hot sauce that blew my mind- it was so good, not too spicy but just full of spices. I ordered Bula, which I had never tried before- it was amazing! Like a porridge but savory. The portions were incredibly generous and I had leftovers for days! The customer service was also very friendly, and the ambience was nice- next time I will eat at the restaurant and try their coffee service. 100%, 10/10, will be back!

Small but really nice place, good food and ambiance. Has outside seating as well. Got to try their Spriss coffee and their vegan and meat options like shiro and tibs
