Nice surprise! I agree the building exterior isn't the most inviting but if you're looking for a cozy, intimate spot to enjoy great wine and light bites, this charming little wine bar is a great choice! The wine selection is fantastic, for a casual drinker or a connoisseur. I had the tasting of five wines, which you receive one at a time, and I really enjoyed the Bowen reserve items, the Noble Blend of TX Cab & Tempranillo blend was my favorite.There was a single employee working and she was a pro. A nice mix of regulars and couples were in attendance on this early Saturday evening it was a bit like a Cheers episode. We ordered pizza and a salad; all ingredients were fresh and enjoyable.Give 5 stars for wine selection, taste, service and cleanliness.

Silver Dollar Winery in Bedford is a tasting room, not a vineyard. It is a convenient place to enjoy real Texas wine and foods without leaving DFW. If you visit you will likely feel like this is a homey place with many neighborhood regulars. There are many varieties of wine to choose from, which would allow groups with varied tastes (from very dry to super sweet to fruity) to all gather and enjoy a glass. The outside lacks charm, with a strip mall feel. Inside there are lots of tables decorated with coins under glass. You also use chips to exchange for tastings, which is a nice touch. I am leaving only 3 stars mostly because, despite trying many of the wines here, I can never find one that I actually like. The service is also spotty. My boyfriend said he felt like the tasting room needed a deep cleaning.

The service and staff treat you like family. Service is fast and they check in on you. The ambiance is absolutely amazing. The I am Peached wine is the best.

Fun place! When I pulled up, I thought I had missed it or got the address wrong. Not so. It's a rustic outside and inside and I'm glad I went. I'm one of those who pretends to know the difference in various wines, so I did a wine flight and wasn't disappointed. Try the one that tastes "like a tootsie roll". It actually does. The food was solid, too, which isn't always the case at wineries. I'll come back!

We reserved a table here over a week ago and we just showed up to have stools at the bar where everyone stands to get their drinks. I also don't care for the lady that thinks she is in charge. She definitely has an attitude.

Decided to come here on a Friday night and it was a great decision. This location is unassuming from the outside but lively on the inside. You can tell they have a lot of regulars.My boyfriend and I split a wine flight and each got to try 3 different wines to find our favorites. We both enjoyed the reds we tried. We also shared a meat and cheese board which was filled with a lot of delicious options. The woman who helped us (I didn't get her name) was wonderful! She made sure we were taken care of all nightThey had live music and it was great!

The wine was amazing every last one that we tasted. I bought a bottle to take home I bought a white peach wine don't judge me I like sweet wine. The meat and cheese plate was off the chain. I'm not big on cheese but they ones they had where good. They had a cheese/butter spread that was out of this world. So the reason I gave them only 3 stars was because the "Experience" that they said came with the Groupon. So we didn't get the signature glass to take home it was supposed to be included in the Groupon. They didn't explain the wine or what to pair it with. When I told them I had a Groupon they didn't seem to happy to take it. I mean if your company Is going to promote something they should keep there word. I don't think I would be going back I'll fine a bother winery to go to.

Always wanted to check this place out and finally went tonight on our anniversary. Very nice place and Gena was friendly and hospitable. She was great suggesting wines we would like as my wife and I have opposite taste when it comes to wine. Our experience with some of the regulars made us feel welcome. Can't wait to join the wine club and meet the other wine enthusiasts like we are. A must visit if you live in the DFW area.

Fantastic wine! Great wood fired pizzas. The bruschetta looked fabulous too. Make a reservation. It's small and a busy place!
