I love that this is basically a "speakeasy" taco joint. I wouldn't have even known it was there...found it by accident. Delicious chicken tinga tacos. The suadero was really good too. Love that they give you pickled red onions. Plenty of them, too. I also really liked the hot sauces...especially the salsa blanca. It wasn't really spicy at all, but just creamy and yummy. They give lots of raw onions and cilantro also, but I don't like either of those. They are about 3 X the size of regular street tacos. Great value for the money. Frozen booze to go, too!My only gripe would be that it took about 20 minutes later than they said it would. I called them 3-4 times once I was parked outside their door, and let them know I was still waiting for my tacos. But, the manager made up for this by bringing me a few coupons for free tacos, the next time I'm there. I will definitely try this place again.

Giving it a 4-star rating to not affect their average rating since I never actually tried the food. Using this post to let them know I WOULD have tried them if their ordering process was more clear. They show photos that don't represent what you're ordering. The chicken taquito shows three... you get two. The "Campechano! Sampler" photo shows what looks like 12+ tacos with queso and chips but apparently it's only six tacos with no queso... no chips. There's an option to add queso for $3 but it does not say whether it includes chips. Queso AND chips is $3.50 so I assume maybe not? But who knows? Also, not many choices for sides. Queso (and chips?) or Salsa and chips. No rice? No beans? No elote? No guac? After one clarification phone call and not feeling like making another in addition to the fact the drive was too far for the confusing goal, I opt'd for street tacos (and sides) closer to home.

A TRUE (and literal) hidden gem! Behind an unmarked black door on the right side of Lamberti's lies an online-order-only authentic Mexico City taco shop that feels like you're in on the best kept secret in town. You place your order, wait about 15-20 minutes, and then call once you've parked in the designated spots to let them know you've arrived. We each ordered 3 tacos on flour tortillas: I went with the taco of the month (two taquitos), a pastor, and a stewed beef (Suerdo). Hubby got a Suerdo, a pastor, and a chicken tinga. We also split a $3 side of queso--pro tip: it does NOT come with chips. Good thing we were prepared and muled our own chips just in case. We also brought our own sour cream, because, you know, always be prepared. This is definitely an eat-in-the-car kind of deal, so BYO napkins because it was messy, and none were provided. And maybe a fork if you don't want to go full caveman on your tacos. Now, let's talk flavors--the pastor was incredible, easily worth the mess. And those taquitos? They should be on the menu permanently. Just eat them quick because they're packed in foil with some tomatoes and lettuce, so they get soggy fast. But hey, it's all part of the adventure, right? All that food for $22 plus tip was a steal! I mean, where else can you get a taco feast that tastes this good and feel like you're part of some secret club?

Cool speakeasy vibes. Kind of hidden though. But food is solid- flavorful, filling, and includes various different sauces and toppings such as cilantro, lime, onions. Have to drive up and call in your order so I recommend calling in your order before arrival. They also bring the food out to your car. Pretty good taco spot!

I love trying new taco shops, and street tacos are my favorite. We ordered ahead using their website. All tacos are prepared to-go and literally served from the back door of another restaurant. When we pulled up, we called to let them know which lane we were parked in. We had 5 tacos and all were bundled together with the extra toppings (e.g., cilantro, onion, lime) on the side. The meat was very good - chicken, spiced chicken, brisket, asada. The tacos were double wrapped in soft corn tortillas. The flavors were delicious but the tacos were really greasy. We also weren't given any napkins so it was messy, too. It made eating and enjoying the tacos a bit difficult.

While the street taco place offers decent tacos with an authentic vibe, the queso doesn't quite hit the mark. The tacos themselves are enjoyable, but for a more authentic experience, there are better options in the area. Consider exploring other local spots for a richer taste of traditional street-style tacos.

Really surprised by our experience compared to the reviews, not sure if they just had a bad day or what. This "ghost kitchen" is run by Lamberti's; their chefs cook the taco menu on the side. Smart business idea for some extra money, but this also means that when the restaurant is busy, your taco order falls to the wayside. We ordered 6 tacos-- shrimp, chicken, and beef-- plus the chips and queso. They told us it would take 30-40 minutes. Really long time for a small order. It ended up coming out closer to 55 minutes after the order was placed, after we called them twice inquiring about it. It was ALL cold when we got it. -Shrimp were completely raw, inedible. We threw them away.- Chicken was dry, unseasoned.- Didn't personally eat the beef, but was told it was not good.- The queso was so cold it was hard and we had to microwave it back home. - Got 2 of every salsa and was really unimpressed with all of them. - All tacos were very small and pretty overpriced for the size alone, even if they tasted good. - Queso tasted almost exactly like those jars of Tostitos queso you buy at the store. Was so excited to try this place, but it was so disappointing. Lamberti's serves great food so I would never expect them to put out such subpar cooking. Absolutely would not be back or recommend it.

I don't add many reviews but ordered pastor tacos and chips and salsa, pastor was Cooked decently 6.5/10 tortillas were crumbly not fully cooked 4/10 Chips were cooked crispy but in oil that's been overused as well as over salted. Oil is burnt and bad tasting. Salsa verde was very watered down and no spices. Vegetables provided abundant. Overall 2.5/50 only 3.0 based on amount of food provided for 20$

So I was on the hunt for some authentic tacos. I came across "Side door tacos". I read the reviews and there was some good feedback about the tacos. I was very excited to try this place. As it turns out this place hands down has the worst Tacos and Nachos I have ever had. So in a nutshell ( LAMBERTIS RISTORANTE) is slanging horrible tacos out of their kitchens side door. The reviews about this place must have been forced from the employees because the food was extremely underwhelming.
