I had the grouper po boy and she had the shrimp. All of it was excellent. The owner Brad was friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was exactly spot on with pics of patrons with their catches and other wall memorabilia. Loved it all!

My shrimp was good, but there were bones in my partner's catfish. Makes you nervous to finish eating without scraping the crust off, which ruins the dish.

We wanted something lighter for lunch than our usual brunch fare. So, we popped in right at 11am - the bartender was MIA until 12p but B made a darn good dirty martini to kick us off when our starters hit the table. My hubby got some blue point oysters on the half shell and I started with some french fries. I'd already settle on snow crab and it was a splurge for sure. My hubby got a combo basked with fried shrimp and oysters. We both ordered their delicious hush puppies.I asked for my crab to be spicy, with visions of how they make their crawfish in my head. A side of garlic butter. The fries and puppies instead of corn and taters. When it arrived for pick up at the counter, the cashier asked if it was ok and as I looked at the 4 clusters of crab, coated with red pepper and butter I said yes! I hurried back to my table, in the bar area, passed my hubby's basket to him, took off my ring and got ready to get up to my elbows in butter. I hunched over my platter, trying to be careful not to sling butter anywhere or on my clothes. Yes, if you wonder, it was worth the price. I did share a few bites with my hubby but for the most part, got very full on crab, spice and butter. I did not need the side of garlic butter at all. I did go through many paper towels, dumped my shells twice and got butter all over the glasses we used.Don't sleep on the whole fried snapper - ask for extra spicy butter with that dish too. The puppies are great. The fries stay crunchy even when they inevitably cool off. You can pretty much substitute any side and they do have some healthy things on the menu. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. They even have live music on their great patio on the weekends! As I've said before, go there. Get some. Life is too short for boring food!

Wow! This was a pleasant surprise. Amazing food! Great prices too for seafood! I loved the self service area. You order when you walk in, get your own drinks and condiments, then find a table. There was even live music tonight. Everything we ate was amazing. The employees were super friendly and helpful. They even let my grandmother sample the chowder before she ordered. We will be back.

Horrible service. Bad food. We told the waitress that the table was sticky. She ignored this. When the fried shrimp came out, it was soggy. When I asked the waitress to speak to the chef about this, she came back and said that's just the way it is and the only thing they could do is take them and fry them a second time. They were already like rubber because they were over cooked. Food was bad and they totally didn't give a damn First and last visit. No idea why anyone would give this 4 stars

Visiting Denton for a short while, stopped here for a late lunch. Was in the seafood mood. Nice, informal, looks like a great after work type place. You order at the walk up counter. Several people hanging out there, not busy I. The Kate afternoon. Decided on a combo plate, 4 shrimp and one catfish with fries. Food was brought to my table pretty quickly. Shrimp and catfish have a very "grainy" breading, like corn meal on the outside. Not my preference, don't like this gritty texture. Food was hot, and you pick up condiments, lemons, sauces next to the soda machine. Cute concept, I'll bet this place rocks during happy hour and dinner.

Can't handle to-go delivery, not sure they want too. Tried a simple order no modifications and they cancel stating unable to fill, seems odd

My husband had the catfish special and he loved it. I was offered the opportunity to taste each of three soups/gumbos, and finally chose the Clam Chowder, but it was a tough decision, they were all so good. Also got fried okra, very tasty and fresh. Laid back atmosphere, order at the counter and they notify you when it's ready, Very appealing patio, but we ate inside because of the heat. Friendly and engaging staff. Would love to come back.
