The food and service were incredible. We loved the guacamole and also the fundido. Entrees are great sized. Definitely get more bang for your buck.

GPS sent me to the wrong location. This place is behind Freddy's, frozen custard near George Bush & Renner Road. The food was very tasty however it was a little on the small side for a larger person. No chips & salsa without asking (found out later) I did ask for some salsa to put on my enchiladas, and it was very good habanero. I will be back

The food is very savory. Service was great. I recommend for date night and for something different at lunch. They can take care of you.

I just ate the pollo sazon and it was amazing. The people I was with said the chili Relleno was the best they have had. We met the owner and chef and he is a trained chef from Guadalajara. I don't think you will be disappointed. I will be back.

Food was mediocre, service was very bad. Waitress seemed lost, never got silverware, drinks took 15 min and place was not busy, my husband didn't receive the right drink ( they did remove from the bill). Will not go back. Choriqueso was great- only good thing. Fajitas are not Tex-Mex sizzling... it's more like a guido type fajitas.

My family, a poor walked in. We are reading and asked if we wanted anything to drink. I asked for water with muddled and lime to find out they were out of me t and I never got my . next came the salsa, which was absolutely delicious. Sadly that's the only thing that was delicious. We ordered two things of queso one with the chorizo and one plain the plain one had absolutely zero taste. We tried to mix it with the salsa and the consistency. It was absolutely sickening. My husband ordered cheese enchiladas that were supposed to come with queso sauce rice and beans said he got cheese enchiladas with a green sauce, lettuce and some sort of cheese crumbled on top. He did get the rice and beans which are also terrible and tasteless. My son ordered a kids chicken quesadilla with rice. Rice was tasteless. Chicken quesadilla tasted like something you would get from Taco Bell that I would not allow him to eat. He did not eat any of it. My dad ordered the meat fajitas, the ? paridilla? my husband asked him to include extra meat for my dad. There was not extra meat however we were charged for extra. They came with three of the tiniest tacos like street tacos when we asked for more we were charged, which wouldn't have been a big deal if the food was well fajitas didn't even come with sour cream, pico or guacamole. All of the meat was tasteless. The shrimp was like rubber. My dad was so hungry. We had to go to Whataburger after my husband ordered me Carne Asada tacos, which the server said we're so good. He would guarantee him my husband's a big guy. He never leaves his food. He ate one and a half of them left the other the meat was like rubber and tasteless. I ordered the chicken straight taco platter again. Everything came with rice and beans all of which were tasteless and all left. We got our bill and it was $106 for crap absolute disgrace and place wasn't even welcoming. We will never be going back to see the lease. I would highly not recommend this place. I guess the guarantee on the food didn't end up mattering because we were never even asked how the food was normally I would've said something, but my husband asked me to keep my mouth shut. Don't waste your time or your money. We'll be sticking with Casa mama.

I was very excited to try this place as there are so few restaurants in this area. Glad to see several more opening up. We arrived as a couple around 8pm and there was only one other table of 4 seated. One other diner came in while we were there. They do not serve chips and salsa, but brought some when we asked. We ordered fajitas to share and I got a cup ($6) of the poblano soup. The soup was delicious (hence the 2 stars), but the fajitas were the worst we've ever had. Nothing about them were what we would consider Mexican or Tex-Mex flavors. Extremely bland. The beef wasn't even traditional fajita meat (flank steak), but something else we couldn't identify. There was a $3 upcharge for 3 additional tortillas. Both the corn and flour tortillas were awful - had a rubbery consistency, which made me wonder if they were old and microwaved. The food took forever to be served, considering the few patrons in the place, and the waiter had an edge to him. He seemed put out when I asked for additional paper napkins and then when he came back, I realized I needed sour cream (because the $17 fajitas came with no accompaniments) and he said, "Anything else?" Like it was a lot to ask to walk back to the kitchen. (BTW, $1 charge for about 2 tablespoons of sour cream). Overall, it was not a good experience and we won't be back. I seriously question the legitimacy of the other reviews. There was nothing about this place that indicated "authentic" Mexican food or "30 years" of experience. I'm sad that this new place is not what I had hoped it would be. Hoping the new places next door will fare better.
