Based upon reviews decided to visit for Sunday Funday Brunch. Party of two we were sat a large both which the seats were dirty, we moved one booth over it was dirty and had ashes from the night before. Reservation was at noon which is when they opened for business. Asked if we could transition to the bar area. Enter Danisha the bartender. She is attentive to detail, glasses constantly filled. Danisha and the other gentleman definitely changed the experience in a more positive direction. The catfish and grits were seasoned perfectly! I comprehend an upcharge for premium vodkas like Effen, Chopin or Belvedere but Kettle One?Never in my brunch life have I paid $154 dollars (with auto gratuity) for one person. I believe I was charged $16 upcharge per in addition to the $14 martinis. The entree was $25.00. Because I enjoyed Danisha's service I did not hold it against her, tipped an additional $45.00. My lack of patronage will not make or break them, just sharing my experience.

We came here for our Galentine's brunch, and the experience was mostly great! The staff was very friendly, and the food and drinks did not disappoint. We ordered a variety of cocktails--three different martinis, a mule, a margarita, and a Crown & Coke--and they definitely had us feeling good!For brunch, we had the catfish and grits, lamb chops and eggs, and oxtail and grits. Everything was flavorful, though I would have liked the grits to be a little creamier. The only downside was the billing process--I wasn't able to review an itemized bill before paying, and gratuity was automatically added even though our party was only three people. A heads-up would have been appreciated.Overall, a fun spot with great vibes, but transparency on the check would make it even better!

Sasha Kitchen & Cocktails is a recently opened restaurant located on Inwood Rd, occupying the space where the old 214 Cafe used to be. The owners have done an incredible job with the remodel--the interior is stunning, featuring beautiful green accents and cozy dim lighting.Parking is hassle-free, with plenty of free spaces available right in front of the restaurant.Here's my breakdown of the experience:Overall Rating: 4/5 StarsDrinks: 1/5The drink selection was disappointing. The only wine option available is Cabernet, with no white wine at all, which explains why there's no wine list on the menu. I ordered a Ketel One on the rocks, but the pours were shockingly small, as every drop of liquor was carefully measured.Service: 4/5Our waitress, KK, was attentive and professional, doing a great job. However, the bar was frustratingly slow in getting her the drinks, which wasn't her fault.Food: 4/5The food was the highlight of the visit. Everyone at the table loved their meals, with standouts including the lamb chops, salmon, tacos, greens, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts. While my meal was excellent, some plates arrived cold, suggesting a delay in service from the kitchen to the table.Additional Notes:The restaurant also features a separate section in the back for hookah, which I plan to try on my next visit. I'll be sure to update on that experience.Suggestions for Improvement:Adding a variety of wine options and addressing the issue of drink pours would significantly enhance the experience.Final Thoughts:Sasha Kitchen & Cocktails is a promising new Black-owned establishment, and I'm optimistic about its potential as they work out some early kinks. I was seated for 30 mins before a waitress came to take our order. My food had a burnt smell and tasted burnt. I didn't eat it and too scared to send it back. It was a movie playing, but the tables were really loud so you couldn't really hear. I came because of a TikTok I saw. I won't be back.

Absolutely FIRE! Drinks were certified and the fried rice saved my life! Seasoned to the gods! Didn't event get to take the Pic!

The food at Sasha's is AMAZING. I have been twice food for dinner and everything was so delicious. The first time I was there it was a Saturday and the ambiance was a little louder than I expected more of a party. I still had an amazing time even though it took longer than normal to get my coals replaced for my hookah. The second time I went was a Thursday it was less of a crowd and my server Deja deserves a raise! Oh the drinks are amazing too!

I'm still in disbelief of this visit! A phone was taken off the customers table and was not found in the kitchen UNTIL the cops were called and came. Keep in mind, the Bus Boy cleaned the table prior to us leaving.. Uhm! The Owner never took responsibility for what happened and barely apologized after he had a distraught customer! It was a big Ordeal and I understood her Frustration! This is the same OWNER there the previous Friday evening that passed our table multiple times w/out saying hello, when the restaurant was not busy with about three patron tables.. Do better MISTER! If you are wondering if the Meal or Drinks were comp.. NOT!! Although we had intentions of paying, it's the Principal! Food: Decent- But not worth the POOR Service. We waited over an hour for food, and everything came out separate. The entree, the side, and seafood. We ordered a Surf & Turf. Do BETTER if you want to be opened Longer!Never going back!
