I recently had an amazing dining experience at Sangria y Cerveza! Our servers, Mikayla and Austin, were fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We tried a variety of dishes, including the birria tacos, pico, guacamole, shrimp tacos, and flautitas, and everything was delicious! Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. We also enjoyed two cocktails that perfectly complemented our meal. Oaxaca Old Fashion and Mezcal Negroni. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, especially with the live music on Thursdays. It added a wonderful touch to our dining experience. Plus, the fact that they have happy hour every day and extended happy hour on nights with live football games is a huge bonus!I highly recommend Sangria y Cerveza for great food, excellent service, and a fun environment. I can't wait to go back!

Definitely a cool spot. Tucked away in Plano but has a neat patio to enjoy the sunset. Drinks were actually very good, I had the Paloma. Good music, good service, and reasonable prices.

Wow, what a giant disappointment. Came here with some friends and left $100 lighter while completely dissatisfied.First, the staff is terribly disorganized. We were sat and moved twice, despite having very unneeded reservations. No apologies given. Our waiter was also just not very personable, borderline unfriendly. He brought our drinks and food and was not seen again til we waived someone else down for our checks. This was a Saturday night at dinner time btw. Should have known considering the place was nearly empty. The food itself is not great. Less Tapas, more frozen food quality. We had 2 orders of tacos, empanadas and tostadas. Out of 4 people, nobody was happy with what they got. Did we complain? We couldn't even get someone to give us silverware or refill our waters. Complain to who?We all ordered drinks from the bar, again, nobody was happy with their drink. First, we all wanted frozen Sangrias... ya know, as in the name of the restaurant... We were told their frozen drinks were not working. Then we noticed others getting frozen drinks, so clearly someone was wrong. The drinks we did get were just lousy premix types with bottom shelf booze. Fine if you're paying $5 at a party bar. Ridiculous for a place like this at 3x the price. The final piece of the crap cake that was our experience is quite literally that... crap. The entire place STUNK like sewer. I'm not sure what that was about and honestly I don't want to know. All I know is this is the only poor experience I've had in Dallas. I will never be back and I explore you to look elsewhere as well.

This place sits right on the corner of Windhaven and Communications...literally. From the parking lot, it's tucked in the corner, so someone could easily miss it. The staff was very friendly and the dining area is a funky mix of decor. The kid's pizza had a lot of meat on it; they certainly didn't skimp on it. My son enjoyed it. The burrito was stuffed full of meat, potato, cheese, and more. It was a lot of food. There were 4 sauces on the chip flight. All were good, but the salsa verde was quite spicy. The shrimp taco was also delicious but had a bit of a kick. I would definitely order it again. Although small, the sangria was very good. We are glad we tried this place and would come back. If you're looking for a new place, give it a try.

This Mexican I'm gonna continue to root for. We stopped here for the Monday afternoon promotion $1 Mini Tacos. Now I'd seen Yelp trying to help to get this place jumping but forgive me, Yelp can't really help this one year old family business. My thoughts are they focused primarily on the ambiance inside the restaurant instead of making sure they had genuine ingredients, food products, machines for frozen drinks, and decent alcohol. Maybe this spot will survive if they take to the service, servers, overall food, and alcoholic beverages. My daughter's boyfriend said, His Sangria didn't taste as if it was alcohol as well. Mak (female server) she tried but I believe our kind wasn't what she was use to serving even though we were the same ethnicity. Lena was sweet and tried to make things right, by offering us some desserts before coming back and apologizing repeatedly for the unsatisfactory taste, food, and service. She ended up not charging us and for that I say, Thanks. 3/10 I rarely give mediocre reviews but sometimes it helps a business. A year of being in the restaurant business and they are still having bland food, and very dry staff. Things like these should be tweaked. Cause this is a prime location but the advertisement is not benefiting the business or customers.

Came here for Happy Hour! We really enjoyed our time. The ambiance of the restaurant is bright, lively, and colorful. The bartenders were attentive and friendly! Such a cute place that I didn't know existed in west Plano! We tried the flautas, chip n dip flight, and birria tacos. Everything was flavorful and delicious! We will definitely return!

This is a good place if you like to smoke a variety of food, as it offers a Tapas menu, but for Mexican food. Their street tacos are delicious and have sizable portions. You won't leave hungry. I ordered the Zapata, and I loved it. Something to consider: the Chingonas Flautas and some other dishes are spicier than the average Mexican place. I loved that, but it surprised some people in our group. Our server was by himself but did a spectacular job working on our large party. I tip to the owners: Since it's tapas style, you should bring empty plates with every round of food so people can continue serving on a clean plate often.
