Salute Italian Restaurant

I've been twice and what I ordered was delicious! Unassuming on the outside but warm and inviting on the inside! Worth the trip!!!

I'm new to the area and wanted an Italian restaurant to celebrate my nieces birthday, so she chose Salute and we hit a jackpot!Food and hors d'oeuvres were delicious.We had Calamari, Bruschetta and a Shrimp Cocktail. Entrees were served hot . We all had pastas, but the specials did not disappoint.Service was also excellent. I will certainly be returning.

Inspired by a fellow Yelp Elite, I was excited to check out Salute and made reservations for a Saturday night. The service here is top-notch. The whole front of house team works well together, setting up tables, clearing them in a flash, seating diners and serving food. They are on it, even when it's busy. Definitely 5 star service. As for the food, there were some big hits and a couple of meh moments. We started with cocktails, an old-fashioned and a raspberry martini, and both were awesome. For apps, we split a Caesar salad and the buffalo calamari and both were easily our favorites. The calamari was crispy and cooked perfectly, and the buffalo sauce was great.For entrées, my date went with the chicken Parmesan and I had the chicken Sorentino. Here's when things dipped a little, the chicken on both dishes, needed seasoning, like where's the salt and pepper? The cheese and pasta sauce were great, but the chicken was so bland. This place is on the pricey side but overall it's a great place for date night. It's a beautiful restaurant with above average food and seriously amazing service.

We had a reservation for 6:30- upon arrival I stood by the door patiently waiting until I could check in. It was busy busy busy. There isn't much space to wait but I tried to stay out of the way. I could tell the older woman with white hair was very overwhelmed so I stood back and waited until she addressed me- she started asking for peoples names and I slowly stepped in closer and said "hello, I made a reservation for 6:30" she then loudly proclaimed "everyone has a reservation" I was so embarrassed and felt like a Karen- but I shrunk back slowly- she seated a rude family that cut in front of us- and then seated another family that came in after us- we finally spoke to a very kind tall young man who seemed like a manager and he took care of us and apologized 100 times and offered us a dessert and checked on us so many times. The older woman did come by a few times, no apology but acted as if nothing happened- The young man was truly epic- I believe his name was Dave,Tall, dark hair, well dressed- super star.Our server was also five stars. Food was 10 stars! So good.Alfredo, calamari, eggplant Parmesan, bread with oil and herbs- so good!Luckily our experience was much better than it started- phew- I would definitely return. So delicious.

This place deserves all the stars. So good. A favorite in my family. We go at least once a week. The food is AMAZING. If I had to eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life it would probably be this one. The salads are always a hit and the dessert. The service is amazing, they know us by our names and treat everyone like family. The decor, music and all over vibe of the place is great.

Huge portions! Cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant. Good service and drink selection. Not good for business meals and a bit pricey for family outings.

I recently visited Salute for a friend's birthday with a large group, and the experience had its highs and lows.The pasta that the server recommended to me was delicious! I thought the portion looked small at first, but it was very filling, so I only finished half of my place. The service was mixed. We weren't allowed to bring our own birthday cake for health regulations, which was disappointing, and we saw a server confiscate a cake at another table. Additionally, we were automatically served bottled water after being asked what kind of drink we wanted, which was later charged. But the girl who took our order was very nice and patient with all of us! In summary, Salute offers delicious food in a lovely setting, but the high prices and strict service policies detract from the overall experience. Be aware of their rules regarding outside food and potential unexpected charges.

Salute is the restaurant that I have wanted close to home for years! I love that every time I have arrived there have been smiling, kind and helpful hosts and hostesses to greet me - which is very important to me! The décor is gorgeous and luxurious, yet I feel totally comfortable and relaxed. It may sound odd but there are faux trees coming out of the walls and they are adorned with little birds (also fake but cute!). I love that it has that eclectic addition! Items that I have had - some more than once:Mozzarella sticks - beautifully presented and very good!Bruschetta - I looove it - the bread is not hard but it's lightly toasted and has a nice smoky flavorCrab cakes - very good I thought but my husband said they tasted fishy and didn't care for them (more for me!!)Caesar salad - deliciousPappardelle Bolognese - my favorite dish there - amazing!!!Sea bass - my second favorite dish there!! Visit the dessert bar in the back of the restaurant - beautiful and everything I have had in it has been amazing!!!!!!! The bartender Troy is great and very knowledgeable. I think I learn something new about drinks every time I go sit at the bar! The waiters and waitresses are helpful and always very nice. The owners are very nice and friendly and always say hello making Salute an inviting place that I want to visit on a constant basis! It's a MUST to visit! You'll be hooked!

Love the new addition here. Service and food are next level and the new decor is perfection.

The food was exceptional, the Ambience was good, and our server, Ernis, was fantastic. Ernis was kind, patient, professional, thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu, and made great suggestions. Our group of 4 made the right choice for our gathering of friends. Brenda and I highly recommend Salute, for sure. Michael and Brenda
