Took everyone's advice and made sure to call before I dropped by. It's a cute shop but it also blends into it's surroundings so you might miss it at first. When I stopped by (around 2 PM on a Sunday) all of the parking spots were taken so I parked on a street in the neighborhood behind.I got the mini carrot cake ($8) and it was delightfull, it had a unusual spice flavor to it that was unlike any other carrot cake I've ever had, but I keep dipping my sppon for another bite. This place is tasty, but kinda pricey.

Another amazing visit to Rush Patisserie. This is Bastille Day our way ! Champagne macaroons, 4 kinds of eclairs, a lime tart with Chantilly cream, cream puffs and a strawberry shortcake eclair. Heavenly! Each bite is more divine than the previous. Saturdays The shop is open until 10. We seem to get there around 7.

Best croissants in Dallas! She delivers all over the metro but has them in her shop too! Her pastures and confections are incredible. I had a chocolate brownie cake with chocolate sauces, pieces and chocolate pearls and Oreos. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten and I'm an experienced chocoholic! She makes everything from scratch using the finest ingredients! Never been disappointed!

RUSH! BUT DON'T RUN TO...1201 Eldorado Ave. Dallas (Oakcliff), Tx 75208.Rush Patisserie has a new zip code now! 75208. Off Eldorado and Beckley Ave, a few doors down from Spiral Diner. This place may not have a street presence as say in its former location of Deep Ellum, but believe me, it has all the street cred and more at it's new location in the OC ( Oakcliff ) If you're craving for pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) instead of the ordinary pan dulce (mexican sweet bread) you find almost anywhere in the neighborhood, RUSH is here. The flaky and buttery croissant is perfect with the semi-sweet chocolate. And the tarts and mini cakes look really good too!But really, there's no need to run though; the shabby chic french-style shop stays open late around 9ish/10ish on the weekends too. And even more accomodating, they also take orders online from their website. As Julia Child would say, "BON APETITE!"

For all you jerks who gives this establishment a low rating because of her hours, shame on you. Obviously, her hours are listed, so why be mad if the hours are established?? She is a one man team, give her a break. We called in for a special order, to be picked up, and she was nice about it. She is there before opening hours because she's in the back doing special orders. This place is a tad small, and not very eye pleasing. But, once you see her pastries, your view of this place would change otherwise.. and once you bite into that pastry, decorations will no longer be your concern.. We had the following:- Macarons - (Champagne, chocolate, mocha, vanilla bean, strawberry, raspberry, & pistachio) - they all were amazingly good, crispy shell with gooey insides, not super sweet, and tastes so fresh. *wishing I have one right now...*- Uncupcake:- Wedding Cake - these were okay, not that great, to be honest.- Caramel Macchiato - however, these were amazingly awesome- Pain au chocolat - Probably the best pain au chocolat I've ever eaten.. just the right amount of chocolate, and the croissant are so, so butter and puffy. The air pockets in these were gorgeously amazing. This establishment is somewhat far from where we stayed, but it was so worth it!

This hidden gem is pure gold! I took my mother here for a treat so it's our little dessert spot, however Friday, I went alone and grabbed 5 pastries, 2 cookies and 2 cokes.I was the only one in the shop at the time and I met and briefly spoke with the Chef. I grabbed my iPad out read a few pages from my current read and ate pastries! I was there for a self-love day; I didn't care how many pastries I bought or if I was going to gain 2400 lbs by eating them all- I ate one pastry and took the rest home btw.I absolutely love the key lime tart- the citrusy flavor topped with a creamy texture and whipped cream like fluff on top was perfection. I got the berry tart that was sprinkled with this copper glitter dust- this added a special touch to it. In the box I got the coffee/chocolate/hazelnut mouse topped with whipped cream and a chocolate brownie bite thing- this is for chocolate lovers it's fantastic trust me. Last tart was the carrot cake cheese cake- omg the best tasting carrot cheesecake ever, the base was the carrot cake and it was topped with cream cheese(cheesecake). Lastly, the cookie butter cookies! So yummy. I totally recommend coming here.

I have been wanting to try the pastries here and I'm so glad we came. They were awesome!I met the owner and thought it might help to let everyone know the listed hours on Yelp are wrong. Rush is open Fri, Sat, and Sunday. We tried the Lemon tart with shaved white chocolate and the mixed berry tart. I can't wait to go back!

After reading reviews I made sure to call ahead and see if the store was open. The place has the beginning of cute decorations but it looks slightly unfinished. No macaroons were available of course, but I understand why so no real complaints there. I got the citrus (lemon) tart with little white chocolate shavings on top. I wish the consistency was a bit thicker but the flavor was spot on. It was more like a pudding instead of a firmer custard. It was about 4-5" in diameter and set me back $7. The lemon tart that I bought in Luxembourg was much better and cost about $5 so I wasn't to excited about paying more for a state-side tart that wasn't as delicious. I will go back though, I can't give a whole hearted review without tasting a few more things :) The other items in the case looked mighty tasty and I have yet to get my hands on one of those un-cupcakes.

VERY DISAPPOINTING: It's a Con, yelp says they're open but they aren't... after looking and navigating to them from downtown Dallas. I call and ask About their CHOCOLATE ECLAIR, They answer the phone I ask if they're open and they're like no we're always closed on Monday. I'm a tourist and I don't know that. She has what I was looking for and I said eclair and I "you have to special order that". Again that's not what it shows on their menu on yelp. After someone read the post I submitted. A lady called me back, upset and disgruntled she was rude so Hung up and she blew up my telephone with calls and texts messages. In the end she apologize for the inconvenience. All that needs to be done on her part is to remove the open time from the days that she's not open.

Wow, these muffins are amazing! The owner (I think it was the owner) was very nice & accommodating. I needed the muffins early Monday morning but they are closed Monday's. She said she would be at the bakery baking and doing deliveries so she would go ahead & do my order. I got blueberry, strawberry & lemon poppyseed. All were fantastic! Several people in my office said they were the best muffins they ever had & I agree! Plus they were freshly baked and warm when I picked them up & stayed warm because of the packaging.
