Runway Theatre

We saw a performance of White Christmas on November 30. It was wonderful. The talent of the four leads (and the entire cast) was remarkable. The intimate theater practically puts you on the stage. Tucked away behind the strip shopping center, whole operation has a community/family sense to it. Very friendly and communal. There are refreshments intermission. Highly recommended for a laid-back, entertaining evening of live theater. We will be back!

Wow what a fantastic show this group put on. I took a friend last Sunday to see "Big Fish" and we both were so inspired with the young and old actors- their voices singing were top notch! Laughed , Cried and loved it.I would recommend seeing this show! Thank you for a show well done!

I have been to three shows here now and have been impressed with every one of them. This is community theater at a high level. While the state is not huge, they do an amazing job at utilizing the space that they have. Each time I have walked in and been amazed at the set they have created and how much different it is than the last set I saw. The actors and actresses they find give the performance their full energy and really capture your imagination and take you somewhere else for the two hours of the show. We just went to see their most recent play called "To Die For". This performance was so much fun. There are really three cast members for this production and they are all great. There is no slacking here, with only three they each have to carry a big portion of the performance. I do not want to spoil anything as there are some wonderful twists to the plot and it is so much fun. The crew did a great job on this show as well. The lighting effects are fun and amazing. There are also a couple of other surprises that are cleverly engineered from a production standpoint in the performance.Runway Theatre delivers great performances and provides a great theater experience at a very reasonable price point. Check them out and support their productions.

We have been here once and enjoyed the play, so I decided to join to support the theatre. Unfortunately, my "welcome new member" letter and membership card had my name misspelled. Between Nov. 10 and Nov. 23 I emailed twice and left a voice mail message asking about getting this corrected; it is now November 27 and I have no response at all. Since there will be a performance this weekend it is tough to believe that no one at all in administration has either checked email or voice mail messages. Or, even worse, that they have done so and just didn't care to respond.

Wait. Stop. Omg. How have I not reviewed this theater before??? I've been coming for at least 20 years. It brings out the inner thespian in me and makes me wish I had pursued acting like I once wanted to. The actors are all just wonderful and I've never seen a bad show here. The line for the bathroom does get long at intermission with only three stalls and lots of ladies, but if that's the worst thing that happens here, we're good. Snacks are inexpensive and beer and wine are complimentary. Make sure to tip the snack bar. I like to buy popcorn and shake m&m's in the box. Parking fills up really fast but there is a strip shopping center next door that you can park in and walk over. This has to be one of the best if not THE best community theater in the area.

Went to their showing of "Tuna Christmas"What a hoot, try to volunteer for each show.The people at the playhouse are so nice and a joy to work with!!!

What a wonderful matinee of "A Few Good Men"! The staging and acting was nothing short of perfect. This was our first time there and we will be back! Go support local theatre folks. And yes, complimentary beer and wine are available...just ask!

Enjoyed the production of Double wide. Very intimate local theater. Special treat was the free beer and wine. As well as the pulled pork sandwiches from their BBQ sponsors. Definitely going to the next show.

Watched Fly by Night last night! Wow! What talent in this show. I was very impressed by the whole cast but the narrator was especially awesome! We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to the next play!!

Best live theater in North Texas. Staff is super friendly and nice The shows are so professional like you are on broadway!
