Rosako's Restaurant

A great local, family-owned soul food and bbq! Love their bbq, but I dream about the corn bread and fried okra. I recently picked up an order - part of the No Food Waste program from Granny's Soul Food (#TooGoodToGo). For about $6, I received a slice of meatloaf, some smoked sausage, a fried drumstick, corn and mashed potatoes. Everything tasted SO delicious! Perfectly seasoned without being over salted, the meats were all juicy (OMG, the meatloaf!!! YUM!!!). 1. I love that Rosako's is part of the No Food Waste initiative. Instead of throwing out perfectly good food, this gives people a chance to try something, or pick up items at a discount. 2. The food I ordered today is a bit different from what I've ordered from Rosako's - this was a fun introduction to another very good soul food point of view. 3. I LOVE that Rosako's has a program where you can buy a meal for a veteran (there are so many who can't afford a meal...everyone deserves a hot meal and a place to feel embraced and appreciated). If you are able to pay it forward I encourage you to do so .I'll definitely be returning to Rosako's (and Granny's) using the #TooGoodToGo app as well as going in to support this local business and ordering off their menu.

Found this place on the "Too good to go" app, if you are not familiar please look it up. Definitely a great way to try new places! But the customer service was great, the staff was very friendly. We got 2 of the same surprise bags which consisted of the cabbage, spaghetti and macaroni. Most of the stuff we received I didn't see on the menu. The rib tip and hot link plate was $30 by itself and it wasn't much. The food was bland. The cabbage was sweet. The meat didn't have any seasonings but the hot links were good and spicy. It wasn't my favorite I personally wouldn't return for the food itself. This place is a literal hole in the wall. The customers in the building were raving about the food so i highly recommend everyone try it for themselves.

Have been meaning to leave review from the few times I have been. Food is amazing and staff always treats you right. Thanks for such an amazing experience, good environment, and even better food.

Hits the spot every time. I've never had a bad meal. The portions are great. The flavor is amazing.

Have you ever just had a $h!ty day? Nothing is going your way and the only prescription is some good comfort food? Today was that sort of day and let me tell ya....the fried fish, collard greens, fried okra and some sweet, sweet tea was all it took to cure me. The menu is jam packed with food that makes your mouth water and your soul scream in joy. Rosako's has amazing happy folks dedicated to ensure you leave that $h!ty day in the trash can out side where it belongs. Absolutely AMAZING! Come hungry and you're guaranteed to leave stuffed and wanting a nap.EDIT- Don't leave without giving Rosako's banana pudding a try. I don't have any proof...but I'm sure a few wars were started over this deliciousness.

I ordered the jerky wings with a side of greens and okra. my order was delivered on time as promised. the sauce was really good and had a heck of a kick. the wings were really overcooked, very dry, and some of them were not edible at all. the okra I ordered was non-existent because they sent mac&cheese. the mac&Cheese was just ok, but not what I paid for. the greens were very good and really spicy as well. my wife ordered the turkey tips, and half of them were really under cooked, and not tips but cut up turkey parts. don't think we will be ordering from here again.

I went here on a whim. It opened at 12p. I arrived around 12:15p. I wanted to do delivery but the sweet potato cake was not listed as an option on Grubhub. Being I've never had that, it wanted to try it. No one entered the entire time I was there which was surprising for noon on a Sunday. I order the rib tips with greens and mac & cheese. I asked if I could have the bbq sauce placed on the side and was told I could but I guess he forgot. I did not care for the sides at all. I must say that was an unusual take on how he seasoned his greens but I realize everyone does them differently. Please note that the stems were included. There was no sweet potato cake but he did have s.p. muffins. He gave me 2 instead of one which was greatly appreciated. I'm still undecided about those. It's worth giving it a try.

We really enjoyed the delicious food at Rosako's. Siulfood at its finest. We will be going back. The service was very quick and staff was Very personable. Give this one a try.
