Ronnie's Catfish & More

I did an order off of Grubhub always trying to help local businesses in my neighborhood. We order catfish filets plus six pieces, three-piece catfish filets, two link sandwiches, a link basket, and wings. Guess what? No, wings. Now the funny part is they actually gave an entire box with bread, pickles, and pepper and no wings. Like who does that? The links were actually good. The catfish was fried right but lacked flavor for me. Thank goodness for hot sauce. I can't tell you about the wings because they don't exist. The prices are good! I just wish I knew where my wings were at. Catfish-2.5Wings-0 becauuse I never got them. But getting my refund is a 5. Links-5Fries-1 why do they taste like day-old cold grease fries? Finally rating 2.7

Super annoyed with this place. Placed an order on door dash for 3 piece fish with salad and pork chop with fries. Received order and only had the salad and the fries which both looked awful. Contacted delivery driver who literally drove back to my house to show he had not been given anything and else. Tried to call restaurant and they would not answer after several calls. Hours say they close at 9:00 so since it was 8:30, we drove there to ask about missing items. They were already closed. Always try to support BOB, but seem to always get a bad deal.

This is absolutely ridiculous and they wonder why people don't go to business in my neighborhood I ordered 10 piece catfish with 2 tails, I received 4 tails that make up for one piece, this is sad, the pieces are so small a baby couldn't get full, its bad when the pepper is larger than the piece of fish they will never, rob me again no salad container full of peppers and pickles I will not be back

Site says they close a 8:00 , door says they close at9:00. I show up at 7:30 the are CLOSED!! This has happened 2 times in the last 3 weeks! I will not be back. I'm going to find a consistent place to get my fried Catfish.

Great fresh fish and great service. Would definitely recommend the catfish. Prices not bad for the amount of food you get.

Fish is always good always fresh sometimes they run out of fries but that's because they can't keep up with the demand so actually we moved to the area one of the reasons is this restaurant because we were hooked

Hello readers, Always a fantastic experience at Ronnie's restaurant. The only issue I encountered was gaining weight due to their delicious food portions being satisfying and great prices. The team at Baylor-BUMC also enjoys the food and great hospitality provided by Ronnie's. and Lady Jessica J.To those who are complaining about the restaurant, I suggest going to a nearby lake and catching the fish of the day. If you're not satisfied, throw it back and try again. Let's stop putting down our community peeps. If you're in a different neighborhood, you'll still enjoy the fish with a smile and complain under the table and will leave a $TIP. Stop troubling our black-owned and operated businesses.Also, avoid ordering from DoorDash as they may have switched your fish with fish they fried from their house and gave it to you. Lol!!! We love the food at Ronnie's and are headed there now. Gir Bye! :)

I have always been one who would love to patronize our black businesses, especially within our neighborhood so that we can keep great things going however, this is not my first bad incident with Ronnies catfish they do great service however their product is starting to lack and that is bad I ordered three catfish fillets and what I bought home looks like buffalo fish and had Brown in it when I called them back to advise them that they may have given me the wrong order or something was wrong. The burden proof is gone me they told me if I didn't bring it back to them. Today was nothing they were gonna do about it now I drove away to get there I don't have to get out of my clothes to eat the food. I have to put everything back on get back in my car and drive back to them for them to only just replace a bad order. There was no other conversation and said it came from the owner, this is not the way you do business they have just me as a customer and I normally go every Friday to this place but I can't continue to spend my hard earned money on a business who doesn't care not one bit about the customer I'm gonna show you the pictures of the bullshit. I thought about eating too fish yesterday automatically thought about Ronnie so I called in and ordered individual on the phone made me feel like I was wasting this time by calling you so I hung up the phone I thought about it and I called him back saying cancel the order if you cannot speak to me as a human being speaking to another human being I won't spend money with you I don't care if you are a black owned business I'm a human being I would never go back to Ronnie's ever again I will never spend one sick with it because first and foremost I will never disrespect another individual but I will not let an individual disrespect me so I'm going to cut all ties with him I wish them the best I wish them all the luck but I will not spend one penny at that location ever again

The fish is still very good at the Red Bird location. Didn't have shrimp the last two times I went
