Rockwall Gymnastics Academy

My 5 year old had been bugging me for 3-4 months about wanting to get into gymnastics, so for the new year we compared a few places. First, RGA is the best value. Second, it's the easiest to navigate for a newcomer because it's a small gym dedicated solely to gymnastics, and they have a smaller gym a couple doors down for the 4 and 5 year olds. The viewing areas are clean and comfortable. The coaches are great with the littles... very kind and knowledgeable. Parking is great. There's a Planet Fitness right next door, so I can get in a quick workout knowing that she's in good care and enjoying herself. They host open gym a couple of Saturday nights a month for a great price, and it's easily my daughter's favorite thing to do if I need some time to myself or just want to let her get that extra energy out. Last but not least, the location is so convenient to just about anywhere in Rockwall. It's easy in and out. I highly recommend them for any busy parent who's kid is interested in gymnastics.

Rockwall Gymnastics Academy has treated us like family from the moment we walked in the door. Not only is the facility super clean with new equipment and a nice area for waiting parents but the staff is as friendly and helpful as one could want. All the coaches are great and my kids always come out of classes with huge smiles on their faces. I highly recommend this business!

This is a beautiful facility and has excellent staffing. The Tiny Tikes program is age appropriate and well thought out. My grandson loved it and wanted to stay. Staff is excellent with understanding a two year old boys attention span.

We have been with rga since it opened , we followed coaches from another gym and knew it was the right decision. It is clean , great equipment and extremely conscientious about the athletes well being ....not pushing athletes to do more than their growing bodies should , knowledgeable about injuries and preventing them .. by far the best gym hands down in Rockwall .

All was ok, until it wasn't. We have been attending classes here for a few months. In this time we have had 3 different coaches due to turnover. In our last class something happened with my 7 yr old to make her cry hysterically and ask to never go back. My daughter loves gymnastics so this came as a shock to me. A week later she is still adamant that she doesn't want to return and tells me she is scared. I can't get anything else out of her other than she is scared. I called today to cancel our membership and spoke with a lady whose lack of compassion was gross to say the least. She advised me that they have a 30 day cancellation policy and we were due for December. It was this time I brought up that we had 4 classes that were missed because 2 times my daughter was sick and the other 2 times the facility was closed. Not only was she insinuating that I owed them $85 for December's fee (note we would have had to pay for our class the week of Christmas even though they are closed) but that I was just going to be out the money I already spent on the 4 classes that she was absent. She then said she wouldn't charge me for December and basically in so many words call it a wash for the missed but paid for classes. At this point I'm pissed and now wanting my money back. How is it that my daughter that is in your care has something upsetting to her happen and instead of saying "I'm sorry, don't worry about our policy that is this, we will look into this matter for you and fix whatever happened" instead you choose to be an ass. I never would have inquired about the $85 loss had that women just been more compassionate. Never will I ever return there and never will I ever refer anyone to there.

great place! experienced staff clean gym with new eqiupment. classes are small and the coach is attentive. my 5 year old daughter loves coming here. classes are much more rigorous and challenging where they are actually learning gymnastics than at ASI which felt like watching 50 mins of herding kittens.
