Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club

We contacted RGAC regarding the cleanliness of the pool a couple of weeks ago. If you were members last summer, you recall that the pools were not usable for a portion of the summer months. Today, as we approached the pool entrance, we noticed a pool maintenance truck. When my wife asked the pool guy what was going on with the pool, he had Ignacio Vela come speak to us. I was expecting him to apologize for not returning my call from two weeks ago. No, he came over to tell us that our membership is revoked. When I asked him why, he responded that we took 'unauthorized pictures'. I don't recall that being spelled out in the contract I signed, but maybe I overlooked it. (I suggest you get authorization from Ignacio before taking pictures of your kids at the pool). I asked that he send me the reason via email and he said he would. When I asked why my phone call was not returned, he said that he didn't have to. We were then told that we were the problem. The reason for contacting RGAC about the pool, has always been out of concern for the health and safety of all who like to use the pool, including us and our grandkids. Oh, I also detected a bit of a fecal odor from the entry gate to the snack counter. Anyone else? If you are a pool user, I would encourage you to ask yourself why the pool guy is there if there's no problem. If you have a concern about the pool, email [email protected] luck. We love Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club!!! I enjoy golf and this is such a beautiful and fun course! Some holes overlook the lake and the views are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! My wife plays tennis and these are by far her favorite courts to play at. Food is excellent, pool and bar areas are amazing, and the clubhouse overall is top notch!

Great service. Magnificent view. Do not need to be a member of the RGAC to dine there. The Sunday buffet was great. It has a different theme every week but the old mainstays, Eggs, bacon, sausage etc are always available.

RGAC is now the best golf course in the Lake Ray Hubbard area. Greens are consistent and the new white sand is so much better than the old brown stuff. Some younger guys at the pro shop are more friendly. Great practice area near the range for the short game. Hopefully, they just keep on getting better and pouring profits into improvements.

They don't let kids in the lobby to eat which is basically there only income because there food isn't good at all so I don't understand why you have to be 17 now or wh

This was the worst golf course I've ever played. The course was in terrible shape. Fairways were covered with dead patches and the greens were mostly dead on every hole. The recent rain has caused havoc on the course and it obviously did not winter well. The worst part though, is that the course staff would not give us a partial refund after we gave up after the first nine holes. It literally was unplayable. The staff were rude, and not even willing to discuss an option, or offer a rain check for a time when the course recovers. I have never seen such a lack of customer service. There are plenty of other courses to play and I would encourage any travelers or non members to golf somewhere else. Never seen a course as unprofessional as this. A complete joke for a private club.

I am so impressed with this club. Since they reopened five years ago they have invested millions of dollars into this facility. Everything they have done is first class. The golf course is the best it has been in decades. Membership fees are significantly lower than other comparable golf courses around the metroplex.

The lifeguards at the pool apparently are given little direction. Bartenders do not know simple drinks, and restaurant food is mediocre at best.

Service is pathetic. Bartenders pretend you're not there. Disappointed that this is in my neighborhood.
