Rice Bowl Express

For the price point, amount of food, and quality- this place is pretty fair. This is a takeout place and you get your basic cheap Chinese dishes. The cashier was a little stand off ish but you really come here to order and leave. I would come back if there was ever a time when I felt too lazy to cook and needed something filling and cheap. For $14 you can't really beat a pound of chicken lo mein and won ton soups.

Located off Inwood. The location is a little sketchy but the food is good and cheap. I got the below and a 2 liter of soda for $16. Mushroom and chicken with rice 2 egg rolls and soda. I would be back

Consistently okay Americanized Chinese food. It's exactly what you expect. Prices are good. An order of chicken fried rice will feed two and a half people. Good egg drop soup. I like their chili oil. Their fried stuff is hit or miss. Just typical cheap Chinese food. Friendly people, clean place.

I previously gave this place a good review. I have an unfavorable update.I ordered 20 vegetable egg rolls for a party. When I served these I had people spitting into their plate...the vegetables looked like they rotted and the interiors were all black. After biting into one you had to spit it out... awful!!We wont be back. Nothing worse than selling spoiled food rather that pitch it in the trash.

The food is not fresh and it has an after taste that hard to get rid of due to the oil ! Yeah it's cheap but I guess you get what you pay for!

I've been coming to this rice bowl express since idk back since i was like 12, always has been the best place to get Chinese i has stopped going because i moved out of dallas the only thing i mis about this place is the portions they used to give out they basically would over fill your plate now i guess because of the inflation idk but still the food is good every single thing i order from this place still tastes somewhat the same from what i remember witch is super tasty and yummy, service is great the lady that worked there from years ago is still there and she's pretty nice, now ambiance has changed a lot you could eat there back in the day now you can't it's mostly for take out the location isn't the greatest but i mean if the food is good i really don't mind it.

I've been coming here for years and the service of the cashier ladies absolutely horrible, but do I keep going back? YES. The cooks get it right every time. I always order shrimp and broccoli, extra spicy and never disappoints. I would prefer if they used less sauce so it doesn't leak as much and for egg rolls to be dried some because they're just leaking in oil but hey, quick and inexpensive, get what you pay for. So I'll take it.

Amazing service! I went up there 5 minutes before close and they still served me with fresh made noodles. Chicken entree was great too and they even gave me spring rolls for free. Amazing service, I will be a regular!'

Cheap prices, fast and friendly service and it's also delicious. The spice is also great but it's spicy

It's ok not the best but it will do on a rainy day, service is ok it's really small place
