Renaissance Saint Elm Dallas Downtown Hotel

Love the retro vibe of this hotel with some great musical references. I'm not sure the age of the building but it has some history - I love the maintenance of old letter boxes and flooring, adds to the overall charm.Nice staff and great location in downtown Dallas but sound was a MAJOR issue. I could hear the entirety of the conversation of our room neighbors and street noise was also problematic in getting a good night sleep so bring ear plugs.Room was large, clean and updated. Really enjoyed everything about the stay other than noise.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! The valet were extremely fast, nice, and professional, and checking in and out was quick and easy as well. When we arrived in our room, the touchscreen light panel for the main room wasn't working, and after we called the front desk, maintenance was up in around 10 minutes and fixed the problem. The room is very cool and high tech! There's a screen in the mirror where you can watch TV, look at the news, listen to music, etc. I loved listening to music while getting ready. There's also a touchscreen shower panel with three shower options and a temperature button. You can also control the blinds through a touchscreen, which was super cool to see. Overall, I would say that staying at The Sinclair was one of the best hotel experiences I've had, and I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Ft. Worth!

This hotel was probably the best experience I have had. I'm not sure the name of the front desk agent is in the afternoon but she was so helpful! She gave me restaurant recommendations, allowed me to rent out some vinyl records to listen to as the room has a record player and the view is awesome. I really was very pleased with my experience, they had happy hour every day, their short rib is great at the restaurant & they pay detail to your wants and needs. If you are a music lover and are more a bit on the eclectic side this hotel is for you.

I'm SO impressed by this hotel. It's beautifully designed and has a refined, fresh, new interior and overall feel. Beds/bedding = perfectShower/water pressure = perfectHotel bar/restaurant = perfectThe whole staff is nothing short of wonderful - from the valet to the front desk to the bartender at Toussaint - I couldn't come up with a critique if I tried. They're doing a great job here. Love and appreciate everything! I will definitely come back whenever I'm in downtown Dallas.

I was in Dallas for my sorority convention (AKA) and I enjoyed my stay here. The decor was super neat with the old school record player and real vinyl records in the room for your enjoyment! The staff was very friendly and acknowledged my reward member status with complimentary room upgrade and other goodies! The room was very nice and the bed so comfortable, I could've slept for days after a busy convention day. Only wish they had a microwave in the room to heat up leftovers, but overall a great property!

This is a bit of an oddball hotel. It is an older building today has been remodeled at some point. It has a very eclectic vibe I enjoyed. The location is convenient to downtown. The rooms are fine. Nothing amazing but serviceable. There is a small coffee shop and a restaurant that is attached to the lobby. Overall I was happy with my choice

Beautiful hotel. Record player in the room is a nice touch. Our corner room was spacious and very confortable. No exhaust in the bathroom so it gets pretty steamy and the floors get super wet as the door is only a half door. Water pressure is on point and the shower gets pretty hot. Valet is about $50. There is a huge in-house bar and restaurant are several restaurants and bars in walking distance that cater to the visiting business professional at higher $$$$ costs. If you're looking for a more relaxed drinking/dining vibe, Deep Ellum is a short 5 min drive away. We'd definitely stay here again.

Why 4 stars? Because my experience was brief but I enjoyed my stay. --- --- ---I only stayed here for one night and was probably only in the room for 10-11 hours, most of which I was asleep for.I chose this hotel because of its proximity to an event I was in town for. Apparently it's been recently branded as a Renaissance, and everything felt pretty new.I had a corner room, that felt much bigger than the standard hotel space. Not that I needed it, but it was nice.I set the A/C to 70 for bed time. It did not feel 70, but more importantly, I set the fan to stay on high the whole night, but it switched on and off constantly. I like the white noise while I sleep, so that annoying. But the bed and the pillows were comfortable.The shower was one of those weird half glass situations, where a lot of the shower is just open air to the rest of the bathroom. I've never understood this. When you have a door on a shower, would you ever take a shower without closing that door? No? Then why build a shower where you permanently have the "door open"?All of that said, I would definitely stay here again. One annoyance is that I stupidly left my toiletry bag in the bathroom. I called the front desk as soon as i got back home to let them know, and it took several days for them to contact me to arrange shipping it back. That bugged me because I was prepared to pay for whatever it cost to overnight it back to me, yet, they didn't even return my call/email for 5 days, despite multiple follow-ups.

One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in! The sleeping area is separate from the bathrooms, which gives the feeling of staying in an apartment and not a hotel. It also gives more privacy and better noise control. The rooms are quite spacious and beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable. Plenty of outlets for gadgets. The bathroom is massive, and has a full length mirror as well as a magnified make up mirror. The bathroomIs fully stocked with Aveda products. I will stay here every time I pass through Dallas for sure!
