The atmosphere was perfect very casual nice indoor and outdoor seating as well as a covered patio area very quaint and welcoming. Menu was a little lengthy but full of healthy fresh options. Service was a 10 out of 10 very accommodating. I will say as I read the menu, I noticed they had lots of gluten-free vegan options, however, when I went to order one of those options, it was not available. For me with having allergies, it is important that I can have a little bit of versatility and still enjoy myself when going out. The Spicy Edamame wasn't spicy at all, but very flavorful! The bao buns were made with a very different texture and tasted batter than I'm used too. 3/10 to those. Really look forward to going back in hopes they have the cauliflower!!

Been coming here for years. My go-to Laotian eats semi-hole in the wall smack-dab in the middle of SMU central. Now, I've begun taking friends here. Awesome to support this fine female owned business. Chef Uno actively caters in the metroplex, is consistently fine tuning and innovating cuisine and is always on point. Whether you're looking for a light bite/grab 'n' go or a bowl with ample portions, you got options. Plenty of libations and fun creations, too! Whiskey selects for days. Chef Uno's in-restaurant events are a blast. Keep close to the calendar. Humorous and vibrant decor. Lots of fun pop music overhead. Say hi. There's WiFi and parking in the retail lot. I went here solo for lunch on a weekday and tried the Pad Thai. It was an interesting take on a classic. There were fresh jalapeños which really made the dish spicy; I never had a spicy Pad Thai before. There were probably more bean sprouts than I like and fewer noodles than usual. But overall, it was a good dish and I would get it again. The star was the chicken skewer. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a sweet glaze. The price was reasonable at $12.95.Service was, maybe a bit on the slow side. I probably waited 12-15 minutes or so for my food to come out. The restaurant was not busy, with one other table of four people. Ambience is casual. I was pleased and would return.

Delicious place if you're craving Asian food. There are a lot of options here. I tried the drunken noods and it was very flavorful. It came with a skewer and I chose chicken which was tender with a sweet sauce. We also tried two fried rice dishes. They have a duck fat fried rice with roasted pork and a cracklin fried rice. Overall all the dishes were yummy and hit the spot!

Great food! Fast and attentive service. Nice sized portions. Definitely recommend the Cracklin fried rice and pork belly bao buns and shrimp rangoons. DELICIOUS!!

Strong drinks and salty underwhelming food. The kabobs had no taste and were extremely greasy. And the snack platter wasn't much better. Just a lot of fried and greasy food with high sodium sauces. Didn't enjoy majority of it but I will say the spicy edamame was top tier and literally the best I've ever had. Super spicy though. The drinks were so damn strong but so damn good. I'm happy to know they have a happy hour so I would be interested in coming back for drinks only. All the drinks had such uniqueness to them. Especially the caprisun bags with boba. I also wasn't impressed with the service. I sat at the bar forever before someone helped. I had been dying to come here and it's such a cute ambience so I hate that I didn't enjoy my food. Maybe I'll come back to try a noodle entree because that is what everyone there was eating.

This place is a cute little spot with very limited parking. I was lucky enough to find a spot in the front. The customer was great! The woman that took my order was so nice and friendly.I tried a Dam Hot Banh Mi with ground chicken and that sauce wasn't not hot at first to me but DAMN when you keep eating it, it definitely gets pretty spicy. I do wish the Banh Mi would have had more veggies for more freshness.The Tamarind Pad Thai was nothing really special to me....it was good but the star of this dish was the shrimp! It was cooked to perfection and the sauce on it was so good.

I'm all for Asian street food, and this place serves! I got the wimpy noods with the spicy sauce on the side, shrimp rangoons with sweet Thai chili sauce, and bbq pork steamed buns. The noodles were "okay," the flavor was interesting and not the tastiest thing I've had. I did enjoy the rangoons and steamed buns though! Full of flavor and very savory. I also tried a beef tenderloin skewer which was delicious. I saw it made in front of me and grilled to perfection.

Awful food. Strange blend of table and counter service. Kimchi egg rolls were the very worst dish of a bad lot.

Such a cute little spot ! The cranklin fried rice was AMAZING ! But everything was ok. The orange chicken could've been better and there were chunks of chicken fat that wasn't very appetizing. Service was decent. Didn't see the New features menu until we left on another table, wish they would've mentioned it to us when we sat down because some of those items looked good.
