Prodigy Dance and Performing Arts Centre

Really great staff! My 7 year old daughter just started with Prodigy a few months ago and she really enjoys it. Owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Prodigy is a great dance studio. We have been part of the Prodigy family for over six years and it feels like a second home to my dancer. She is welcomed every day by caring staff and other dancers. She receives excellent training not only in dance technique and performance, but in life skills, such as hard work, discipline, teamwork and strength of character. As a part of the dance company, she has had great opportunities to learn from the trained professionals on staff at Prodigy as well as Dance Masters from across the U.S. As a Member of the Prodigy Company, she has had the opportunity to attend conventions and dance competitions, which are a big part of her growth as a dancer.

DO NOT waste your time or money on this place. This studio's lack of professionalism and communication has left my daughter's class canceled more times than I can keep track of. Their teachers are not properly trained, and there is no real structure or curriculum followed. You're basically paying for an hour of free play with a princess wand. We will never be returning and I encourage everyone shopping around for dance studios to stay far away from this place.

We are new to the Prodigy family and we are loving it! Since day one staff has been very nice and helpful, they have made our transition of changing studios very easy. Camille the owner is always around with an open door policy, which we think its very convenient :) teachers are amazing! Looking fwd to wonderful year!!

I hate to leave a negative review but my experience with trying to cancel my daughter's class has been a complete nightmare! I initially sent out an email in November (and a few more afterward) to cancel my daughter's class, I even called multiple times and have left voicemails to try and speak to someone to ensure cancellation and no additional bills. To this day, no one has gotten back to me and I continue to receive emails of them trying to process a payment. I've called too many times to remember and calls always go directly to voicemail.This establishment is completely disorganized and lacks proper communication. Unfortunately, this issue completely overshadows the positive experience my daughter had here. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, as this shows they were willing to communicate with me initially to get my daughter signed up but completely avoid and ignore you when trying to cancel and go elsewhere.

I thought this would be a great place for my daughter to learn dance but I was definitely wrong. This organization is extremely disorganized. They failed to provide detailed recital information in a timely manor. I ended up missing the recital due to plans that were sleet made prior to the 30 day notice on when the recital would be taking place. No one ever answers the phone. They only call you back if your concern is about money. I never received any updates about my daughters performance unless I asked in person. The recital information was vague and I was charged a ridiculous amount of money for everything! I contacted them to try to rectify the situation but was told there was nothing they could do except give a free video. They then charged my card on file for the cost of the video and I never received the video. I'm very dissatisfied & I STRONGLY recommend you find another more organized place for your child that actually cares about their overall development.

I have 2 daughters who are beginning their second year at Prodigy. My 6 year is one their competition team and my 3 year is in a rec class. Both girls looks forward to dance each week and have grown so much. The dance teachers are all incredible and make learning fun for the kids while teaching them the correct technique. We are always informed about special events going on at the studio and the recital was extremely organized. All of the families at Prodigy are so nice and welcoming. The older girls that help assist in the younger classes have become my daughters role models. I highly encourage you to come take advantage of the free trial class and see why we love it so much!

Prodigy is a an incredible dance studio for children of all ages interested in both recreational and company classes. Having tried several other studios in the area over the years, we had not found the perfect package. Great teachers, smaller class sizes and an overal great environment for my daughter! So pleased!

This will be my daughter's 3rd year on Prodigy's competitive dance team. The growth we have seen in her in the 2 years she has trained there is nothing short of AMAZING! It's not even the same kid! There truly is a place for every student - every level at Prodigy whether it be recreational or pre-professional. It's the best decision we ever made for our daughter in her pursuit of excellence in dance education.
