I've tried the food here multiple times over the years and almost every time I got sick (diarrhea, skin rash, food poisoning) from the food. I also had stale food delivered to me twice from there. It's obvious that these guys have no hygiene at all and it's very unsafe to eat here.

Prasunas is great and has so many options! I went to grab some take home desserts and ended up buying snacks to eat then and take home as well. They also offer batter to take home to make idlis and dosas. Everything I had was delicious! My spinach and onion samosa was out of this world. There is plenty of parking as Prasunas is in a strip mall, but it is meant to pickup food and takeout, not to eat there. There is no indoor seating, just a bunch of shelves and a food case next to the cash register.

Phenomenal taste!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Ordered curries, biryanis & snacks on different occasions. So far never had a bad experience. Quality & quality was good. Reasonably priced. They have a huge selection of savory snacks.Today we tried Pandalapaka apparao chicken pulav, natu kodi (country chicken) curry & ragi sankati (finger millet). Too good. I think this was their best so far I have tasted. Pulav was flavorful and seemed authentic to its name. Finger millet was nicely done without any lumps with right ratio of rice in it. Although the natu kodi (county chicken) was not actual country chicken, it left an undeniable taste. They followed a different way to make it. Curry was aromatic, rich in all the required spices and full of flavor. Loved it!!!

I like this place because of the diversity in its options (they serve up home made Indian snacks, desserts, entrees and even ready made batter for idlis and dosas). Their family owned and operated style shines on through and shows. They're purely a store/pickup joint, so don't expect to find a sit down restaurant where you can eat your meal.Their menu changes daily, so be sure to visit their website to see their offerings for the day before you go. There are some staples that they sell every day, like their pre-made batters.I opted to pick up the following on my latest visit there:-- Mullu murullu: Also called murukku in some parts of India, it's a popular snack in the South of India, it's fried batter made a mixture of rice flour and lentils. In terms of texture, they're crispy all round. Perfectly made and addictive, and not too oily.- Chicken done with a nice masala and plenty of curry leaves: Perfectly moist, and spicy, goes well as either an appetizer or a side for your rice or breads.- Carrot pickle: Pickled carrots not the way you'd find in a jar made by a company and placed in an Indian store. They're done the way you'd expect to find in an Indian home. Tangy and excellent to pair with curd rice.- Beetroot and carrot halwa (Two separate dessert dishes)- Halwa is a slow cooked dessert dish, and in India usually done with milk/ghee, sugar and nuts (cashews and sometimes almonds), with a main ingredient (in this case beets and carrots) and infused with spices (like cardamom and cloves). In any case both of the renderings I picked up here made with these two root veggies very perfectly balanced and not too sweet. I actually loved the cashews for texture even though I'm usually not a fan of pairing nuts with desserts.Pro tip: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to pair with the halwa. You're welcome.- Finally, I also grabbed a tub of dosa batter to make at home. Absolutely perfect, tub to hot pan, dosas are ready.I only docked them a point for their price point. I understand they are a family business and it'll be easier to bring those down based on scale, but for now, I'd say its a factor in keeping many away from making it a regular.

I am giving this rating purely for their poor handling of my online order. I placed an order through their website at around 3:45 pm while at work. When I came to pick up the order at around 9pm (after work) they looked for it and then told me that for some reason my order was not filled. They did find the online order, but I don't understand how they were not aware of it. The guy at the counter was clueless, and did not even know to apologize..... he kept saying that I will get a refund ..... Duh !!! Of course I will get a refund.....am I supposed to celebrate the fact that I am getting a refund

Too pricey for the quantity and the quality they provide - be it snacks or Indian sweets. Not worthy.

The place is pretty small and have the items stacked over in display and you can pick what you want. This place has the traditional andhra sweets and hot items, you may call them treats and snacks. We have tried the Madatha Kaja and Boondi Laddu. Both were a perfect 5/5 just like how you get in Andhra(India). We also got the fresh Ginger pickle and Andhra Chakkalu (snack).Pickle is a perfect 5/5, you can use it in Dosa or rice. Chakkalu were so so.. would skip it the next time. Though there is lot of crowd in store they managed to serve us quickly. Will definitely visit again in our next Dallas trip.
