Place is very very fast! Food is delicious. Staff is very friendly favorite part about the restaurant is the self-help bar with salsa, jalapeños, onion, cilantro, and much more where they have unlimited cups and lids for you to take as much as you would like definitely recommend.

This continues to be one of my favorite Mexican chicken places in North Dallas. I've been coming here for years. The chicken is always so good and the restaurant is always clean too. I recommend going inside to order and take advantage of the salsa bar.

Update. 10-17-23 expect to pay a fee if you want to use a credit card. Ordered Chicken fajita Chimichanga was given shredded beef chimichanga. I didn't want to reorder and wait. The plastic fork was unable to hold the chimichanga so I could cut it. Fork was so flimsy it bent...disappointed again

When I'm in the mood for grilled chicken, I always think about Pollo Salsa! As you approach the restaurant, you can smell the wonderful aroma of charring chicken on the grill.I usually order their grilled chicken meals so I can't really speak to their other dishes. The chicken has the perfect amount of smoke and salt. Admittedly, the smaller pieces of chicken like the legs and wings are a bit dry, but their sauces saves the day. Their chicken meal comes with your choice of corn or flour tortillas and mix of grilled jalapeños with chopped onions and cilantro. You also get additional sides depending on how many pieces of chicken you order. My go-to sides are the fries, rice and coleslaw. I've used the drive thru once and it was a fine experience. However, I agree with other reviewers when they say it does move a bit slow since everything is made to order, even the chopping of the chicken. Nothing is pre-packed.If you want something sweet, they have a variety of pastries for sale daily as well as horchata and jamaica.Something to keep in mind: the chicken is chopped with a cleaver so there is a risk of getting bone shards. Eat with caution. Overall, the food is decent and and is great for a quick lunch or weeknight meal.

Ordered take out for us and another couple. I got chicken fajitas which were very good, plentiful but could have used more seasoning. Hubby got the chicken enchiladas with queso they were loaded with chicken and we liked the queso sauce. Other couple ordered fajitas and their opinion was the same as ours. The beans and rice are good. We love you the salsa bar.
