Pawn Superstore

I called ahead of time and spoke to JR, for an item that's was posted on Facebook. Long story short it took a few moments to connect with him. Which made sense why it took a while to connect with him when I got to the pawn shop. This place is a mini Buc-ee's, it's extremely busy. JR offered to put it on hold while I made it to the store. The drive wasn't that bad as I took 635 to 30, plus it was after 7 on a Saturday. I made it to the location and Jr had it on hold. I had inspected the item and it was in deed in like new quality. Jr did message me pictures of the item to ensure it was it before I drove to the location. Overall I was satisfied with the level of purchase. I think and feel if you effectively communicate with these guys, they will listen. I felt jr respected my time and the end of the day he didn't want to waste my time. Plenty of people had called about the item I was inquiring about an no one ever made it to the store.

Love this place! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They have a large inventory of items to choose from at great prices that can't be beat! The store is always neat and clean I highly recommend this place, best pawn shop in town!

Not very nice people, I don't understand that I'm a licensed holder of a firearm and these people only would sell AR-15s to the police only, It's ok if you sell to the police stations but they somewhat call themselves saving rifles for their police buddies that work for their building, I call it bullshit and pretty much friends helping friends and not giving two f@/ks about your customers to include they sold me a DJ console without the power cord but if someone brings them the exact same console, they would want the power cord and to see it powered up..... That's very hypocritical to me!!!!!It's a damn shame that I come out of the military to see shit hasn't changed in my own town.......

Gabriel sold a generator that I was pumped up about getting for my work rig. I drive over an hour and when I get here he tells me it's been sold and doesn't have anything else that will work. I tried to pay for it so he wouldn't sell it and he said it wasn't necessary then let's someone sell it out from under me. Sorry business.

Spontaneous visit and I found a firearm that I wanted to purchase. The kid at gun counter didnt acknowledge me but kept up his conversation with a high school friend. Terrible salesman.. I won't return

Guns are way overpriced. They are priced as a new guns. Even the old guns are way over priced. One sales lady. Real nice, said they were all from a estate sale. Other lady, lied and said, they were all individual customers. Why lie? Anyway. Don't waste your time. Ripoff store. Pleas, know the worth of a firearm, before buying. Don't buy anything from them.,

WAAAY overpriced! Came here and you're paying hundreds more than you would anywhere else. Even prices above new retail for banged up used items. Ibanez AF75. Retails $449 free shipping new. Their price for a banged up used $499. Martin GPC4A Retail New $1499. Their price for banged up used missing parts string ect $1499.99. Epiphone White Lightening Guitar. Sells $670-$700. Their price $1499.99. You will pay more here than anyone has ever paid, even new from authorized dealers with warranties.

This place is awesome. I feel like every time I come here just to browse I end up coming home with a new piece of jewelry because their prices are so good. The store is big, nice, and clean and the staff is always friendly and ready to help. I make it a point to come here at least once a month to check out the new inventory.

I'm not sure how this place stays in business since I only see 3-4 cars in the parking lot when I drive by...it used to be packed. I purchased a silver Maple leaf and they tried to charge sales tax on bullion. The law changed exempting sales tax on precious metal bullion a year before my transaction. I emailed them a copy of the Texas law signed by the Governor but they never bothered to reply.
