I ordered the nachos. Piled high with cilantro and onion. Hard and dry. There is nothing to hold it together. No beans. Pick up a chip, and everything falls off. No flavor. Dry. Not like it was before Bland. I will take the 2/3rd I did not eat and have an egg, chorizo, beans, cheese, and creama breakfast burrito. It's not like I remember. Little cups of sour cream, salsa, and jalapeños. Not right

I love this hidden gem! Went on a recommendation for a burger. Char grilled and the beer was cold! Friendly staff and lots of darts! I'm a non smoker so be prepared. After a few minutes I didn't notice the smoke to be honest. I've been back several times and enjoy the low lit ambiance of this hidden gem in Garland!

Dive bar with the locals, food is good, bartenders are friendly. Met a guy from England.

I have been coming for a yr now. Love the service. I don't think the servers or bouncers should be allowed to play music on the jukebox. This is their place of employment not enjoyment. People who come want to enjoy getting away from stress and employment. So please consider the people who come and pay money to drink and have a good time here please!!!

1 star for the friendliness of most of the staff. However, the fact that I waited on 2 drinks for 20+ minutes and then had to wait another 10+ minutes for my tab is ridiculous thus the low rating. Then factor in that our waitress was drunk af, blew her vape smoke directly at our face, asked us 3 different times for the name on the card which was repeated to her distinctly. While we still hadn't received our drinks, our waitress somehow had the time to take 2 shots of liquor, continue to vape and serve other patrons was the absolute cherry on top. The pricing was fair for liquor but if you cannot handle your drink, why in the hell are you working in a place like this. Child's play ffs. If you plan to come here, avoid the lady with colored hair, just a train wreck. Bartender and other wait staff seemed much more on top of things. As a prior bartender, if your going to let your staff drink on the job (security guard/ waitress) please make sure they can at least perform their job well. We ordered our drinks at 1:29 and got it at 1:53 with our tab 10+ min after. The music selection was top tier and the ambiance was also great unfortunately this was tarnished by our waitress' service. Kudos to the bouncer who helped the wait staff with closing duties which was definitely more than could be said about our waitress from what we saw while there.

I went to parks Place right about midnight on 11/17/2022, and the front desk person who checks IDs was very kind. Things started to turn for the worse as the bartender working was super rude. She never once introduced herself and when she made my drink it tasted like it did not have alcohol. I never complained to her. I was talking to a couple next to me as I'm an extrovert and they were having so much fun. I wanted to be a part of that. The bartender made a point to not make me feel comfortable by saying things like we don't talk about politics in the bar and singling me out. The couple next to me looked at her crazy as all I did was answer a question being asked from them. The only reason why I felt she did this is because she did not know me. This was my second time at this place and the first time I came there Justin the bartender was one of the kindest bartenders I have ever met. So welcoming. There was a female across from me who kept on looking at me and approached. Long story short she decided to leave with me and when she came to my house she stated that the bartender working that night said be careful with me when I never met her in my life. Sometimes when an individual is having fun like myself and makes the best of life being a retired US Army Veteran people hate. And that's how I gathered things from the bartender. I hope she doesn't let her personal feelings get to her and treats all colors of people professional. I felt so disrespected from the bartender to where I only want to go there when Justin is working. Thank you Justin for being one of the best bartenders in garland and providing great service! I salute you!
