Paradise Cove

We went to a private event at Paradise Cove. It was easy to find and has lots of close parking. The venue dinning area is large with a bar area and lots of tables and chairs and a small stage. The bathrooms were clean and had lots of extras for the women next to the sinks. The event had lined up 2 food trucks to eat at which worked very well, I'm guessing the venue has a menu also but not at our event. It would be a pretty place to have a wedding or reception.

We had our daughter's wedding here last month and it was just amazing! The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. We chose the full package with wedding coordinator, which I highly recommend! Tina was amazing, walking us through the entire process. She was very attentive and always answered our emails and phone calls promptly. One other thing we loved about Paradise Cove was the ability to choose our own vendors, unlike other places that force you to use there's. We were able to control our budget this way and still get the things we wanted. Tina was a wonderful resource to provide vendor info and help keep us on a planning timeline. They also provided almost everything we needed for the wedding & reception which saved a lot of time and money. All of the tables, chairs, table settings, dishes, silverware, many of the decorations were provided and set up by Tina and her team. We added a few touches of our own, which Tina happily put up as well so there was very little for us to do but focus on the bride and the bridal party.Contrary to another post, we knew exactly what we were expected to do to get our deposit back. It is written very plainly in the contract on what the family is responsible for. If you pick the full package it was very little cleanup (basically have enough catering staff and have them bus the tables and plan on having them there until the festivities are over). We received our deposit back within a week as promised.Definitely recommend Paradise Cove!The day of the wedding went very smoothly. Tina took care of all the details so the day was enjoyable and as stress free as possible! We had the wedding outdoors by the lake, nice and quiet in their little cove. The guests loved the venue and had nothing but positive things to say about our wonderful evening together, celebrating at the reception in their lovely indoor space.

DO NOT RECOMMEND My husband and I just got married at Paradise cove on June 22,2022.While the venue itself is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, I have nothing positive to say about the staff for paradise cove. Tina ( the owner of the venue) pushed us to have her as "our day of coordinator " expressing that she has tons of experience and knows exactly what to do and when to do it. She expressed that she would make herself available for any questions and concerns we had along the way and even went as far as providing me with her personal cell phone number. I should have caught on sooner because she was extremely unresponsive when I finally did message her with questions. If she would respond to my texts she usually would tell me to "ask Dawn." Which is her partner who handles the finance portion of things. Needless to say that having Tina in charge meant that NOTHING went as scheduled the day of our wedding. We were late on almost everything, our guests were NOT informed of anything that was happening, the crew was rude to our guests based on feedback that we received from family and friends, AND the bridal suite didn't even have proper air conditioning! My bridal party and I sat back there sweating for 2.5hrs waiting for Tina to get the show on the road. There was so much confusion and Tina was very scatterbrained. She was unable to give proper answers to questions when asked and I feel that the workload is too much for her. When we need her she nowhere to be found. She kept referring to her "crew" which involved herself and 2 other people (which were the "bartenders") one of which showed up several hours late. Definitely not a good look. During our conversations with her, Tina informed us that couples get upset when they hire outsourced coordinators that are not familiar with her venue and that those people usually do not get their deposits back because they leave trash ect. So like some fools we were convinced that hiring Tina was our best option to ensure that our special day went smoothly. HOWEVER, not only did we pay Tina an extra $1,300 to have her as our coordinator because she claimed to be so "knowledgeable" she also refused to give us back our $1,000 deposit. Which absolutely defeated the purpose of having her coordinate to begin with. She was COMPLETELY useless. My mother-in-law even made it a point to check in with her all night to ensure things were as they should be the night of. It had been radio silence from Tina since the night of the event until she finally reached out via email a week later to tell us we won't be getting that money back. A true con artist that has now scammed us out of a total of $2,300 & used Gods name to do it. What a shame. She added so much stress to the night of our wedding and then failed to follow through on the promises she made. Please look elsewhere before booking with her place. All that glitters isn't gold here.

Was here to shoot a wedding. The place is nice, established and over looks the lake. It is tucked away in the back, but GPS will get you there. The area is big enough to hold whatever event that you might have.Things to note:-Only one dressing area. So the groom's party all had to change in the bathrooms.-The hallway to the dressing room is HOT. No air circulating.-The staff was very helpful and the meal provided was very good. -no drive up/through, you would have to back the car up the the entrance.-The view is gorgeous!Check them out!

This place is Beautiful and was perfect for my daughters quinceañera I appreciate Tina, Dawn and the whole staff m for the referrals and recommendations thank you so much!

If you are looking for a venue, look no further! I am a local wedding planner in DFW and my clients absolutely loved this venue. Tina, the venue owner, is nothing short of AMAZING. Not only does she go above and beyond to ensure a successful turnout, her staff was amazing as well. Thanks to this venue, both bride and groom were extremely satisfied and guest continued to rave about the beautiful location and experience.I highly recommend this venue

For a very small event it is Ok. Beautiful place, however Tina the person who runs the place is difficult to work with if you do not chose her as the Day Of Coordinator for your wedding , we chose our friend who's in the business. On the day of the wedding everything from the Bartender to serving equipment to the Champagne Toast was difficult. Our Day of Coordinator and her staff are TABC Certified but Tina would be let them help the Bartender serve the Champagne to 90 adults which took a lot of time to get everyone served. Tina claimed it was TABC rules which is wrong and then when pressed she then said it's her rules, she keeps moving the goal posts..Enough said, never again!!

The owners of Paradise Cove rent out a yurt on their property through Glamping.com. I have to post my review here because they won't post it there (since I didn't spend the night). The reason I didn't spend the night is that it was dirty and smelled terrible. The bathroom is a Rubbermaid Shed out to the side that is filled with mosquitos. When I asked for a refund because we would NOT be staying they refused and said they could not book it since I had reserved. The problem is that since I DID book it and should have been able to leave an honest review.....I wasn't allowed to. I would not recommend these owners to anyone for ANY of their spaces due to horrible customer service and the property not being clean. What a waste of money for me.

Our club just held an annual summer event at Paradise Cove. The venue is beautiful with a stunning view of the lake. Tina is fantastic to work with, very accommodating, and was hands on the entire time. Her staff was beyond helpful even stepped in to help us blow up some inflatables when our air compressor died. Can't say enough good things about PC and will be back for our Christmas party.
