Ovenhead Pizza

My boyfriend and I tried this pizza and we highly recommend. It has a unique flavor and the pizza was not greasy what so ever. The restaurant was extremely clean and everyone was super friendly.

Ovenhead pizza is your no frills all thrills pizza spot! While the restaurant itself is simplistic (and well cleaned!), the real creativity & love is honed in on the food! As I have been here on a multitude of locations, I've had the opportunity to meet the owner as well as most of the staff, all of which have notable joy & pride in what they do! I have had the opportunity to try multiple types if pizza from here & can truly say have had no disappointments. I also tried their wings which, while not their specialty, still hit the spot and are well sauced! If you are looking for recommendations, I would go with either the borracha pizza if you don't mind a little sweet heat, or the Alfredo chicken spinach if you are looking for something milder.This place definitely deserves a try if you have not been yet!

5/5 pizza! The pizza was really delicious. 5/5 wings! The wings had flavor and crunch!2/5 dessert! The crust was over done, too hard. Over all it was a good experience but we felt like it's overpriced. & the Nutella pie was really disappointing with how hard it was. Also, the staff were very polite and the music was really good, not too loud or too low.

QUALITY!!We drive nearly an hour for this place. Srsly best pizza in Dallas area. If you read my pizza reviews you know I am a pizza lover and have been looking for my pizza home since moving here. Found it!The Boracha is best. Sooo good. We have had many pizzas and this is our favorite. Second is the BBQ Chicken. It is so delicious, smokey, and just lightly bbq so you get the high quality ingredients. You have to get the garlic knots. Even the chunky tomato sauce is good. And you can't beat a cold draft Dos Equis with your pizza.Plenty of good parking, and patio dining if you prefer. We will keep driving to come back.

The beef pepperoni pizza here at OvenHead is the kind that you think about weeks later. Wowzers! This halal/kosher friendly family owned pizza joint offers so many flavors and toppings that blow your mind! The pizza comes out piping hot, freshly made to order. The staff are all so incredibly kind. And even the vegan pizza offers ooey gooey goodness. We came in as a family with my two year daughter old and my 8 year old nephew. They scarfed down their lunch here. Truly. You know the food is good when the kids are quiet. Ha. Highly recommend making the drive out here to give OvenHead a try!

I'm not a huge pizza head, but when I want one-- I want one. One of our Yelp events featured this restaurant, and it allowed us to try any pizza specialty pizza or design our own. We opted for the carnivora added sausage and the Thai spiced wings. Now, I'm a thick crust girl, and this wasn't the thickest but it was perfect. The pizza was really fresh and the wings were really good. We ate both in their entirety. The only drawback (to me) is the only non carbonated drink they had was water, and everything else was in a can. That may be typical for pizza places, but I'd love to at least have a lemonade or something as an option. The manager was very personable and nice. He introduced himself and held a lengthy conversation with us, which was nice. They even had the tiny desk groovin on the playlist. We would return!

We tried two of menu items that seemed unique. Starting with the akawi pie which was slightly sweet and so delicious. Our 2 year old son ate several slices of this. We ordered the borracha pizza and it was amazing. We had a piece of tasty tiramisu to go! They have a few beers on draft and some bottled Beverages. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The restroom was clean. Geo, the manager, said they would be putting pics outside and playing the nfl games.

Absolutely delicious pizza! The crust is great, very thin. I liked the atmosphere, large tvs, comfortable seating, we enjoyed the service & the menu selection. Definitely recommend this place for groups, we had 8 people comfortably at our table

it was pretty good they have a wide variety of stuff to choose from and has unique toppings
