This place was so much fun! First off, it's FREE!! Way to go, Lewisville Parks & Rec! It is HUGE with lots of activities to keep every age entertained. My 11-year old was skeptical at first, but once he got out there, he was entertained for about 2 hours. I have a 9 and 5 year old as well, and they both had a blast. There are covered tables and benches and bathrooms with showers too. It's kept really clean, and I even saw a maintenance guy out here picking up some wet paper towels in the play area. There is a basketball court, a fenced in playground and a large field for when the splash pad won't be available as well. And, just a heads up it is closed on Thursdays for maintenance.

This is the preferred local park i take my kids too. Very child friendly. especially for younger kids. Lots of daycares in the summer come around lunch time. Free lunches provided by salvation army and local school district. Free to all kids 18 and under during summer time to help end hunger when kids are out of school. That is neat. They have some life jackets too.

We had a blast at the Old Town Aquatic Center and our 3 year old loved it! This facility is definitely better for younger children but I saw kids of all ages. They have a few splash pads, a small lazy river, a big slide for older kids (48" or higher) and a smaller slide or shorter kids and toddlers. Admission is $3 for non residents and $2 for Lewisvillians. They take cash and card. Kids 2 and under are free. Lifeguards are great, they enforce the rules as they should. No running, no climbing walls, no cotton T-shirt's, no holding on to the walls. You can rent out an umbrella for parties, you can also bring in coolers and food if you'd like. They have concessions but they may or may not always be working. The bathrooms are clean and nice. Wish there were more sitting areas but other than that, it was great!

This is a great city pool for children under 8. They have a few fountains for the kids to play in and they are easily supervised because the pool is small and not too deep. This pool also has party umbrellas for birthday parties and the rental fee is about $100. Check the website for the hours they are closed one day per week for pool maintanence. Feel free to bring snacks because they only have a few vending machines that may or may not work. Overall this is one of our favorite city pools.

A really great splash pad! It's free. The kids loved it. There are quite a few splash pad activities (?) / contraptions (?). A great way to stay cool, save money and most importantly entertain the kids.

Very clean Splashpad and park with free parking, restrooms, and free admission. We have visited when in town and have a great time. There are many shaded tables and benches. Variety of water obstacles, fountains, dumping buckets, etc. On summer weekends, there is usually a Kona Ice trucks that parks there for sno cones or a man with an ice cream cart comes.
