I went to Ngon on a Friday night and sat in the outdoor area. The inside looked super light and airy, with such a friendly vibe from the staff. I made a last-minute reservation, but thankfully, it wasn't too busy that night. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but that's the trade-off when you're in Lower Greenville with so many great restaurants around. I'm not an expert on Vietnamese food and can't speak on authenticity, but I definitely know good food, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! The duck curry, which came with rice, was rich. The crab and shrimp fried rice was so so good. But the wings were chefs kiss! Perfectly crunchy with that sweet and savory combo.I was really excited to try the egg coffee, and it did not disappoint! It was super concentrated with a creamy texture from the egg and condensed milk. Honestly, 10/10, and I might need to learn how to make it myself. Our server was also super sweet, and the food and drinks came out quickly, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. All in all, a fantastic spot! I'd definitely recommend it.

I visited this spot after they received their Michelin status in 2024, and while I was excited to see what the hype was about, I found the pho to be a bit underwhelming. It wasn't bad by any means, but it didn't quite live up to the expectations set by the Michelin recognition. That said, I'm definitely open to giving it another shot--especially since the owner highly recommends their other Vietnamese dishes, like the vermicelli bowls, which I've heard great things about. What really stood out to me was the vibe of the place. It's incredibly relaxing, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot to unwind over a meal. Even though the pho didn't blow me away, I'd come back for the ambiance alone--and to explore more of the menu, which I suspect has some hidden gems.

First time here. I had my phone to go but I wouldsay the customer service was good. Had the seafood pho and added veggies. Didn't care for the imitation crab. But overall it was very good and fresh. I definitely recommend & would return. I wouldn't mind dining in the next time I go the ambiance was cool.

This is my go to spot whenever I am hosting friends in Dallas or showing people lower Greenville. They have an amazing selection of food highlighting several different Vietnamese cuisines from rice dishes, vermicelli bowls, to soup noodles. The vegetarian options here are also top tier!!! The tofu shaken beef option and the eggplant curry are both amazing. For cocktails, you can't go wrong with the Vietnamese coffee martini or the lychee martini. The vibe of the restaurant is casual but elevated and it's perfect for a date night or a group meal.

The food here is not bad, but also was not incredibly impressive. For $20 a bowl, I definitely was not super impressed by my pho ga. The chicken was pretty tough/dry, and the flavors did not really stick out to me as a "Michelin bib" bowl of pho. The service was alright/a bit slow, but there were a lot of people dining, so I understand! Overall, would probably not visit again unless I was desperate to spend $20 for pho and happened to be in Greenville.

Food 3/5Service 4/5Interior 5/5Perhaps I selected the wrong dishes or had different expectations, but I was underwhelmed by the pho and papaya salad. The flavors were alright for both with slightly higher prices. The papaya salad has a mild medicinal flavor.I would rather go to Garland for pho.Great service and welcoming interior.

This was a decent Viet option located on Lower Greenville. Overall the food tasted really good. The spring rolls were fresh and filled with ingredients; I especially loved the peanut sauce that came with it. The crab fried rice was very flavorful, with a decent amount of crabmeat. Though the portion was on the smaller side. The bun cha hanoi was solid; the deconstructed concept was refreshing and the meat was flavored very well, with fair portion size. However, the overall downside was the cost; the meal was priced noticeably higher compared to other Viet restaurants. If it was priced more competitively this would've been a 5 star experience.

Modern and clean Vietnamese restaurant. A little expensive and small portion compared to other Vietnamese places, but you can tell the quality difference. Their rice is unique and has a good aroma.

Ambiance was cute casual! Service was good and the food was great! We went after they received their bib gourmand award. We ordered the two orders of the imperial rolls, the crab fried rice, and chicken curry and did family style which was plenty of food. Along with two rounds of drinks. Overall it came out to $64 per person with tip. The cocktails were great and everyone enjoyed theirs. I got the Sakura teardrop and it was fantastic. The standout in terms of food was the imperial rolls - I could've had an order just for myself!
