I have been coming here for years and this place use to be a great place. Super busy and food was great. Recently I came back and there is a sewer smell as soon as you walk in. Definitely won't go back again until they fix whatever issues they have cause I wanted to puke from smelling it. Totally disappointed.

This place wasn't great when it first opened, and I'm surprised and sad to say that it hasn't gotten better. I came here for dinner for the first time in years and it's the first time I've thought to myself, "how is this place still open?" Just right off the bat, the server was kind and got the food out to us pretty quickly. But that's where the positives really end for me.The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell. They've got an industrial fan running and the place smells like raw sewage. It's not enough to "sting the nostrils," but it's enough to catch you off guard. You get used to it after a while, but it's disconcerting at the least. My partner and I decided to stay and eat because we don't remember the food being too bad.Where the disappointment really is, though, is in the food. My partner ordered the soft tofu stew and I had the stone pot bibimbap. I think this is the first time in a while that I heard my partner say that the tofu stew was "different." Not even alright, just different. The bibimbap was generally good and the veggies were fresh, but there was a pretty fibrous stalk in there and there was barely any meat to speak of. And the bibimbap sauce (usually the highlight of the dish for me) was so bland that I left feeling a little disappointed.Just to wrap up, I do think that my expectations were a bit high, so take this review with a grain of salt. But even in this economy and the exorbitant food prices in the Carrollton Korean food scene, I feel like this place was overpriced for the quality of food (around $18 for the bibimbap and $16 for the stew). Two stars for the nice server and the fact that the food was passable.

My family came here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food tasted good. The service was good. Unfortunately, they did not have barley tea. The atmosphere is okay, but we did like the semi-private booths.

As soon as you place your orders, the banchans are served. It's their appetizers and they are complimentary, they are served in small plates. The banchan selection was good. We especially liked the tofu, bean sprouts and Cucumbers. We ordered the oxtail knee soup, which is like a "tendon". The soup itself is bland, you will have to add salt, which they provide in a small container. After the salt is added, all is good. The tofu soup is good. We opted for medium spice . Flavor was good. The beef ribs was tender and a little sweet. It was good, i ate most of it.Service was okay. Just turned off that tip for 2 people was calculated at 18% & 20% ... why?

Food had great portions but quality wasn't great. The side dishes seemed old and bought. The soy bean soup was too spicy and they used button mushrooms which is very uncommon in Korean dishes. I think it's because it's cheaper than other mushrooms. The cold noodles taste store-bought as well. Place smells musty and old. Service was nice but tried to up-sell when we said we weren't hungry.

I loved my Korean dining experience at Musiro. We were seated immediately and served promptly. We ordered the spicy pork and cold noodle combo, seafood pancake, and tofu soup.Portions are very decent and Korean flavors in the food are bold and present. The tanginess of the cold noodles balanced out the spiciness of the pork. The seafood pancake was nice and crispy with the aroma of fresh seafood. You can always judge a Korean restaurant from its banchan. Our food came with 6 different dishes. And the owner personally refilled our dishes once we ate it all.I appreciate the attention and friendly service from all the staff here. I will definitely be coming back.

Finally got a chance to come back here again after enjoying my first meal about a year ago. I love their tofu stews made with so much flavor. I only wish it came out bubbling hot like the first time so that I can add my egg. I really don't mind waiting for good food! I've had their seafood and also pork kimchi tofu stews. Both were delicious and accompanied with rice and banchan. I ordered seafood pajeon again and while it still tasted delicious, it really would've been better had it been fried crispier. Customer is amazing! The hostess made an effort to seat us away from others for social distancing purposes, which I really appreciated. At the end of the meal, she asked us how we enjoyed it. She really made us feel welcomed. Definitely recommend this awesome place. The tofu stews warm your body and soul and leaves you feeling happy and satisfied. They also have several different soups and grilled meats. I look forward to coming back to try those other menu offerings very soon!

I went to Musiro a couple of times but the most recent time was a great experience! The yukgaejang that I ordered was delicious. Good amount of meat and vegetables and noodles, and just the right flavor/spice. It wasn't anything particularly special or out of the ordinary, but it was a delicious meal for the price. They give a pretty large amount of side dishes here, I particularly liked the fish cake side dish. Definitely will come back when I want yukgaejang!!

Dumplings were extremely soggy and tasted very weird. Food tasted cheap and flavorless. Tasted like grocery store premade food. There are much better Korean options in the area.
